Actually, yeah. I think he would, wouldn't he? Speaking of which.... we seriously need to find a way back in to the RP for him in Full Circle. Currently, my character's in the stuck zone too. I find RPing in the Bart storyline kinda tricky for me. ^^;;

There's Tony Blitz... You know Sapphire isn't the only one he's going to be after... He also hates Kamui Exan and wants revenge on her too...

Chapter 9

"Look out!"

The sudden shout from Kamui startled Sapphire out of her thoughts and she barely had time to get out of the way of a super-charged electrical blast coming directly at her. It was just a bit too dark to see where the blast came from, though.

"Will you watch it with that weapon of yours, Kamui?" exlaimed an exasperated Sapphire, "You just about hit me with it!"

"It wasn't me!" replied Kamui as she squeezed her eyes shut in irritation, "And it's a family heirloom, not a weapon!"

"It looks like a weapon to me!" snapped Sapphire, "so if it wasn't you who threw that lightning bolt, who did?"

The sound of smug laughter reached both women, "I was going to let you two ladies guess, but seeing that you're already getting confused, well... let's just say I've decided to help both out a bit by introducing you to my new toys."

"Tony Blitz!" Kamui snarled, "How did an oilstain like you get out of jail?"

"I thought you'd be locked up for life," said Sapphire, feeling a bit uneasy.

More smug laughter, "Well, I had outside help, but I'm not going to tell you who that is because it wouldn't matter if you were both dead!"

There was another electrical blast aimed at Sapphire, who had no way to defend herself. She would've been badly scored if Kamui hadn't blocked it with her blade-fan.

"You'll have to find the twins," Kamui told Sapphire, "I'll keep Bolt-Brain here distracted as long as I can."

Sapphire was going to protest, but remembered that the twins' safety was paramount. She nodded and went off to search for the twins. But they weren't her only concern, however. The baby that she had been carrying for over a month was in danger as well.

Kamui pulled forward to give her rival cover, "Yo, Tony Bolts-for-Brains! You're not the only one who can throw lightning! Take this!" And a bolt of lightning flew back at Tony.

Back in town, there was a scream of pain coming from the Walker residence on Deusenberg Street. It was Ebony, the townfolk knew, who was not going through an easy labor right now.

Every time Elizabeth told her to push, Ebony did so. It hurt her when she did that. Her body shuddered with each contraction and she was growing weaker by the minute.

"P-p-please..." Ebony's voice was shaking, "Get it o-o-out of me... It h-h-hurts so much..."

"Don't worry, Ebony," assured Elizabeth, "The baby will come out soon. Just don't give up pushing."

"I'm t-t-trying..." Ebony gasped, collapsing onto her pad, her distended sides heaving.

Elizabeth patted Ebony's fender reassuringly, "You've got five minutes until the next one. When it comes, I want you to push as hard as you can. But, right now, just try to rest."

Ebony could do little else as she was already exhausted from two hours of labor and her strength was ebbing away. Her mother put a few cold packs on her hood to cool her down.

Melody had come over just as soon as she was notified that Ebony had just gone into labor. She left Meredith in charge at the Wheel Well so that she could be with her daughter. She watched over Ebony as the younger Viper suffered terrible labor pains and winced in sympathy at each contraction. She had gone through the same thing three times herself and knew what Ebony was going through.

"It's going to be alright, Ebony," Melody said soothingly as she gently rubbed Ebony's distended side, "I'm here."

Too exhausted to speak, Ebony looked at her mother with a ragged expression and smiled tiredly. She then gave a sharp, pained gasp. It was another contraction, stronger this time, and hopefully the final one that would push the baby out of her.

Meanwhile, Sapphire had made it around the lightning battle between Kamui and Tony and was trying to figure out where the twins were hidden. She didn't have long to search because she found them still-wrapped in the netting and whimpering fearfully.

"It's alright," she assured them, "I"m here to take you back to your mom and dad. Don't worry."

She began to pull at the netting with her teeth. While she was doing this, as stray lightning bolt hit her in the side. Sapphire yelped in surprise and pain, backing up a few feet and looking at her scored side.

Sapphire knew that she had to get the twins out of the cave fast and proceeded to tear away at the netting until both Maven and Krill were free.

"C'mon, let's get you guys out of here, okay?" she whispered to them.

The twins just nodded and followed the stocker through the tunnel system. When they reached the outside, the rescue party that had been assembled by Slaytor was there to greet them.

"Sapphire, you got the twins," exclaimed Slaytor as Maven and Krill rushed to him, "How'd you know they were here?"

"Well, long story short," Sapphire replied sheepishly, "they sorta ran away witn they stumbled upon an arguement that Kamui and I were having. We chased after them all the way here and then ran into Tony Blitz."

"At least they're alright now. Ebony almost worried herself sick for their safety," said Slaytor, then he looked at Sapphire, "Did you say Kamui and Tony Blitz?"

Sapphire nodded, "Yeah, that oilstain is out of jail and he's back. Right now he and Kamui are having an electromagnetic duel inside the cave."

"That's not good," exclaimed Zed, "If they keep that up, the whole cave will collapse down on the two of them."

A chrome-silver streak shot past them into the cave, intent on getting to Kamui before the natural disaster that Zed had mentioned would happen. Jens Glimmer could sense his soul sister nearby because she was using her blade-fan, its shockwaves could be felt beneath his tires.

He soon found Kamui trading lightning attacks with the one he assumed that the others called Tony Blitz. Glimmer decided that Kamui was going to need some help in defeating Blitz and he was the one to help her do it.

"Jensie? What are you doing here?" Kamui asked as Glimmer came up beside her, tonfa blades out and ready.

"To help you," replied Glimmer, "Now let's get this guy. Or as you say Let's rock."

Kamui gave one of her trademark devillish grins at the Mercedes CLK and Glimmer grinned back.

"Alright then," said Kamui, "You hit him on the left and I'll hit him on the right."

"Got it," nodded Glimmer.

Kamui waited for an opening, saw one, and went in for the attack. Her blade-fan came down just inches from Tony's side, but it was enough to make the Supra jump in surprise.

"How did you--?" Tony demanded, but he never got to finish his sentence because a pair of tonfa blades cut into his left side while he was occupied with Kamui.

He howled in pain and whipped around to glare at Glimmer, who was just grinning evilly as he worked his tonfa blades deeper into Tony's side. Before he could strike back at Glimmer, something black and bloblike hit is antenna and started to swell, thus preventing him from using his electrically modified antenna.

"Bullseye," remarked a grinning Zed, "Let's drag this sorry piece of sheet metal outside."

Once outside, the rest of the rescue party pounced on Tony, giving him the beating of his life. When they were done, the car known as Tony Blitz did not even look like a Supra, but a mangled form that was once a sports car.

And because Buck wanted to lift Tony as high as possible up in the air and drop in to his death, Rico decided to take the Supra back to the Impound in Radiator Springs. The rescue party followed the Chinook helicopter back home.

Meanwhile, in her home, Ebony gritted her teeth and pushed as hard as she possibly could. She was getting dizzy and very weak as she continued to try to get the baby out of her.

Thankfully, there was the sound of a crying infant and the feeling of being lighter again. The smile on her front, thought weak and sickly, was that of relief.

"You did a good job, Ebony," Melody gently patted her exhausted daughter, "I'm proud of you."

"...So sick..." Ebony moaned faintly.

"You were very brave, Ebony, but you need to rest now," Elizabeth told Ebony, "Don't worry about the baby. He's fine and he's quite healthy for being a little bigger than normal baby."

"Bigger than normal?" asked Melody, deciding to ask the question for Ebony, who was too out of it to speak, "What do you mean, Elizabeth?"

"Sometimes babies are born in that manner because of the amount of nourishment that it absorbs into its body by what the mother takes in," explained Elizabeth, "It would completely deplete the mother's strength and sometimes puts her health in danger. This baby is not exception, but Ebony has survived this ordeal, but she is very weak and sick. She needs to have complete rest for as long as it takes for her to recover. But someone needs to take care of the baby, but with my busy schedule, I can't do that, thought."

"I can," offered Melody, "I have experience caring for infants as I have done it three times. And I'll stay right here with Ebony, in case she needs me for anything."

"Good. And I hear that the twins have been found," smiled Elizabeth, "so that is one piece of good news."

Ebony thought it was good news as the last of her consciousness slipped away from her. At lest she'll be able to rest peacefully for awhile without having to worry about them.

Thanks... but you know... I think I may need to take a break from this fic for awhile and go focus on other things... I may or may not come back to it... but if me coming back is possible, this fic will be under a different title or something and be a few more years into the future (XP)... I dunno...

Good chapter, really enjoyed reading it. Radiator Springs' population is really skyrocketing, isn't it?

Poor Ebony though...first twins, and now a high birth weight baby.
