I see some potential drama in the idea of something happening to both Sapphire and Kamui at some point. Maybe they get trapped in a cave-in...

Oh my! I think that would be something to do! But, instead of just jumping right into the whole cave-in thing, I think you should make it a cliif-hanger!

What could Ashley have against Kamui and Sapphire?
I've been wanting to reintroduce my old criminal bad guy, Tony Blitz (see his profile), for some time in some form or another and this is the way to do it. He has some grudges against Kamui and Sapphire especially... and even Ebony.
I was thinking of doing a time jump to make the story go a little smoother and faster. I was also thinking of having Ebony so far advanced in her term that she's completely immobile and would be quite vulnerable.
Okay, okay... I admit it. I wanted Ebony to go into labor. Now, no more hints!

And Sapphire in trouble it would push Kitt over the edge, much like Phoenix with Mariatti. The StreamLiners are famous for their tempers; if you push them over the edge they snap and it can be scary sometimes.
And didn't Tony have a grudge against Boost too.

Boost is another potential target. There would be a lot of stress and drama... and Ebony being so far advanced in her term would sense this and automatically go into labor.

Add heres another idea of how Tony can get the girls, perhaps they are out at the Butte getting a bit of training or something like that.

Yeah, I was gonna go for that. I'd have them both out somewhere away from the security of the town and bam! Tony's got them. To make it more interesting, I might instigate a chase.

Oh! I can see Kamui getting right PO'd with Tony! XD But Pedro DeLaToyas is an easy going guy unless you do something to his star racer (AKA his "Senorita.") So I can see him being agreeable to a partnership. Kamui? Not so much unless there was dramatic circumstances. But you do know that as soon as she gets out of that cave, she will be Tony-hunting! XD

Pardon me for asking...but where would Carl or Glimmer come in? X.=.x Judging from the storyline ideas I'm having...Glimmer will already have been made "obsolete" and have gone through some life-changing thing at Radiator Springs, details to be worked out when they come along, but I suspect he'd be a lot more quiet and reserved...

I might be able to give Glimmer minor role in the story... maybe something like a defender when Tony Blitz and Luke Grayson attacks or as a rescuer when Kamui and Sapphire get trapped in a cave-in... I dunno, I have to think on that.

Kamui doesn't make for a very good damsel-in-distress type. XD But maybe to get a greater sense of Glimmer's reformed character, you might wanna give him a test run in "The Cars Full Circle RP" thread. It's an RP based around this fanfiction taking place in Radiator Springs. I think this would be a good testing ground. ^^;
