Wow...really, really nice. I absolutely love the coloring, the little lines of white by the doors...they make him come alive.

How do you make the shiny reflections on the floor? I'm guessing its some big photoshop thing that I won't be able to recreate on GIMP -.-

Thanks much! Oh I don't know much about GIMP but to make reflections like this your programm must be able to distort or warp. I do everything with Photoshop. The refelctions are allways a bit an annoying job to make because you cannot just copy the whole thing and flip it vertical, that does not work, I allways need to copy a few parts and work on them until they look fine as a reflection, the body, the tyres and the front are single parts.

GIMP may have distort.... can you explain how this works? Yes, I'm pretty sure GIMP has it. I think the hardest thing will be to make the reflection angle look good (in Suzi's picture, you see the bottom of the truck). But if you just want basic reflection, I guess that copy, paste, flip, distort then using the gradient tool in the alpha layer can do the job... I should try it, but I'm not the awesome with GIMP...

I can tell how I make it in PS, I think if GIMP can distort it must work in the same way. As Dr Frankenstein said, in this case the car is very high and then you also see a dark reflection of the underbody, I just made a dark area for that (there you also need to get the angle right). The rest of the reflection is made by coping the finished drawing onto a new layer and then I cut out the tyres, the front and the side, flip them vertically and then I put them on the right place. The tyres touch the ground so the reflection of them is also next to the tyres without a space, the most difficult thing now is to distort it to make it look right, to just flip it vertical is not enough. As you can see it is not perfect in my last picture too, but it looks good, if it shall be completely right then I think you will need to draw it by hand.

I know, I know there is a bit a brawl concerning Transformers Vs. Cars and art etc. This is really an exception piece, it is much to much work to make even more of that stuff. XD I will keep doing much Cars art because it is the fun and I will also work on the avatars I just can't say if I will be able to finish a few before I go onto my vacation.

Nice work. I don't see why it should be a "brawl", no reason why there should be any fan feuds over it.
