Tablets are really great but I just need to say one thing, you not just plug it in and can draw perfectly. You need to train with it, I think it needs aprox 2 weeks to get into it because you just need to accustom to it. You draw on the tablet but you look on the screen. I drew all my older stuffs with a mouse before I got my tablet, the best thing on the tablet is that it has got that touch intesity thing, you can make dynamic lines with that. I dunno if that Cintiq is really tht good, i mean it sounds interesting but we had a little discussion about that two days ago. If you draw with a normal tablet you see everything on your screen, if you use that Cintiq you allways cover one part with your hand while drawing. Oh well, more info about the different tablets can be found here: wacom.com/

Yeah... drawing on a tablit (Unless it's a tablit PC where you're drawing directly on screen) is quite different than drawing on paper. I remember the days when I was still using my ArtPad II and I remember how long it took me to finally get the hang of looking at the screen and NOT looking down at my hands. It took me about three weeks to understand it.
As for Cintiq, I think there was a review on it in Airbrush Magazine once and they seemed to like it. But then again, it all comes down to how comfortable you feel about using the technology after three weeks.

I think the Cintiq has a much to hi exorbitant price in the moment. They should sell a complete artist-PC kit or so where everything is tuned for graphic artist works, including a PC with enough RAM, the software etc. a scanner, a tablet and a printer. I think there is something like that allready but with a not really acceptable price. XD I finished the sketch for Annika my new character: But I think I will not have the time to colour it soon... *ergh*

It would be really practical if you would not need to assemble your artists-PC from different pieces... ;D Now something different, *teehee* animate me baby... I thought it would be cool to post them all together. These are most of the animations I have made so far (not all and these are just the car related ones). Because Fireworks MX rulezzz... These are not "real" animations, the way they are done is called "fake animation", I just add or modify the parts I want to animate/move. It is easy with Fireworks, you can also add a delay in the animations without increasing file sizes. ;D

Orange/Black are my school colors, actually. It's a nice color combo. I like Black/Lime Green better, though x3

... since long time something new again. ;D I finished the sketch of Jenna the Dodge Charger R/T, it is part of an art trade with numbah29ondatracks... I think I got the details really good there I will colour it as soon as I have some free time again.

Love the details in that sketch. And the expression is very well inserted. Charger R/Ts are one model I think it rather tricky to put a mouth on because of their grill configurations. But you hit the nail on the head here.
