Raine soon found herself hopping out of the window/door of the helo with a distant glint in her eyes. She scanned the area around her as she searched for the familiar cobalt shape. She gazed absently into the faded reflection of the window that she stood next to, in deep thought. Her expression was a mixture of the very young and a kind of deep, sad wariness as she idly twirled a strand of hair with her finger.
"...Doc... I wonder how he's holding up over there..."

"If I can be honest with you, I actually don't feel any better."
Dr. Cooper flashed a slight, knowing smile at Dr. Scott, his working partner in the compound's infirmary. What did I say? Hook, line and sinker.
Sid, at this point, having now gone back here for some answers on his medicene, wasn't feeling any much better than what he had just said. Shifting uncomfortably in his chair, he looked to the two doctors for some words - or at least some decent medication to ease his worrries. The final words Kathleen had said to him previous still hung heavily on his mind. But whose words, or knowledge, or even senses was he to believe now? Hers, or the doctors?
Dr. Scott was the first to speak up. "Well, the medication you're on's been working just fine for you. Took us a lot of time to find what was good for you, but we got there, didn't we?"
"Well, maybe it's not working anymore, doctor. A friend, well, a friend of a friend of mine says that I'm not coping very well."
Dr. Cooper took his turn next. "Oh, so they got some experience in the pharmaceutical field as well, huh?", he chuckled briefly to himself as he spoke.
"I think you've gotten her confused with her friend here." Sid replied. "She ain't a doctor, but I'll just call what she knows as intuition."
Cooper glanced at Scott again, expressions exchanged that spoke nothing to Sid. "Thing is," he started again. "I'm still coughing up blood everyday from that ash. That medicene you're giving me's not doing a f*cking thing for it."
Cooper and Scott, for a milisecond, looked confused. Perhaps here was a breakdown in communications. Words hadn't fallen through, but still didn't make any sense. Or perhaps someone here had lost the plot. A lot sooner than expected.
Cooper leaned forward, looking almost concerned with Sid. "...Looks like we might have made a mistake after all. I mean, if it's not working for you, it's not working for you, right?" he placed a soft hand on Sid's shoulder. "What about if we give it a few days without the pills, huh?" Scott's face flashed disbelief. Cooper paid no attention to it. "You come back here, and we'll see if we can't put you on to something else..."
Sid just shrugged in agreement. From his viewpoint, this wasn't looking like it was going to help at all, but at the same time, did he even know what these doctors were giving him? They already messed it up once with these pills, and staying exactly non-messed-up was going to be essential to get through this.
Sid muttered his thanks, heading out of the infirmary, not sure of what to say to Kathleen or even Shayla should the subject (invariably) come back up again.
Dr. Scott, meanwhile, looked almost to speak up something fierce about what had just transpired. Dr. Cooper just stopped him, once again, with that knowing smile...

Ebony had followed Dawn out to Robin. Briefly, she looked up into the sky to see if Brett had returned yet, but did not yet see the other helicopter. She had noticed that Brett and Robin were an item and had seen them nibbling each other at one time. Ebony hoped for the best for both Robin and Brett, wondering if they were going to have kids, but hopefully they'll wait until they're sure they can handle kids on their own.
She turned her attention to her radio, having left it on throughout the entire journey, "Ronald. Ebony here. I just want to tell you that Robin's arrived with Rained and Liska and they're all alright. Hope you guys are holding up there."
(((((OOC: Here for a bit. Letting the coloring set. Still slow in replying.)))))

Aron went over to the entrance, equally as curious about the 'visitors' that were coming. Hopefully, they were not goverment agents in disquise, they had enough of them already. "So, who's coming?"

Ebony turned to Aron as he came up. "Just two residents from Radiator Springs," she replied, "One is a Hudson Hornet named Doc Hudson and the other is a rusty tow truck named Tow Mater. They're practically harmless, but they're honest and friendly."

As he joined Dawn, Aron, Ebony and the others, Martin snickered at 'practically'.

"A Hudson Hornet?" Aron asked surprised. "And a doctor? We have a baseball player that turned doctor after his carreer, but Hudson Hornets were known as racecars, and pretty good in their decade. What's the clan's story here?"

"Clan? I'm not sure," said Ebony, "Doc's not one of those people who likes to tell all. I have absolutely no idea why. And I have never dealt with or seen a Hornet before, except in pictures. Doc should probably explain that one if he feels like it."
Ebony cast her eyes at Martin when she heard him snickering, "Hope you're not laughing at me and at something else."

"No, not at you", replied Martin, not totally getting what Ebony said. "Just... thinking about something.", he said, as an excuse, and shut himself up.

"I would be interested in knowing what." Aron laughed. "But for Doc, I guess I can wait for answers, or look up on google."

"Oh, I'd certainly like to know what about," Ebony said to Martin.
She turns to Aron, "Yeah, I guess you can try that."

Tamara called down the hall. "Martin! Tess wants to talk to you at some point!" She took note of the Viper. "Welcome back, Ebony."
Enkidu wagged his tail with cautious optimism as he touched noses with Shadow.
Brett was heading back to the compound with the visor on board. The young Blackhawk's rythyms kicked up as he caught sight of Robin again, and by her body language and scent, the Dauphin was just as happy to see him too.

Aron picked up nearby binoculars as hearing a helo approaching, and he identified it as the blackhawk from couple of days ago. "Someone call Alexis, tell her the parts for her translator are here." He called back. "And so is my visor." He muttered under his breath.

"Thanks," Ebony nodded to Tamara.
She then heard the approaching sound of another pair of rotor blades and noticed Robin's change in behavior. Ebony looked up to find the reason why. Brett was returning. She backed up to give the Blackhawk room to touch down.
Shadow cocked her head curiously at Enkidu, swiveling her ears at the sound of another approaching helicopter.

What again?
"Okay, Tamara. Where is she?", Martin replied.
