La petite fille qui aimait trop les allumettes - Gaétan Soucy.
Just started it. Deadline Tuesday.
EDIT: Finished it. Quite insane. If it was put into film, it would sure fit in both "Drama" and "Horror" sections.
BUT it was the same kind of "interesting" as Patrick Süskind's Perfume.
The english version is called "The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches". Google it for a résumé.

Right now, I'm reading a biography on Captain John Paul Jones of the American Revolution... it's very interesting.

I'm reading How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff. It's a portrait of a near-future UK under enemy occupation as seen through the eyes of an American girl who was sent over to visit her cousins just before all hell broke loose around them. It is in turns disturbing, chilling and redemptive, and is a perfect response to those who believe "it can't happen here."

I'm reading Daren Shan's fourth book in the Demonata series, 'Bec'. I'm only 40 or so pages in but its alright so far. The series is quite good but I hate how every other book is almost completely unrelated to the main story line You just get into the story and then some random bald kid pops up then it goes back to the original story then on to some girl with MAGICAL POWWWWERS.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
I picked up last night, gave me something to do as well with no internet for the night, and left off at three with half the book to go through.
Not going to spoil it for anyone so I'm not going to say anything about it.
