Reading "1984" by George Orwell for a school summer assignment. So far I find it scarier than any horror novel.

Currently reading "On Basilisk Station" and one other David Weber book in the Baen Free library (free books online). I think some people here would like the Honor Harrington series (butt-kicking space opera as C.S. Forester of Hornblower fame might have written it. Cool "treecats" too.)

I ordered Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen Laberge.
Still waiting for it...
(Lucid dreaming is a very, very interesting subject if you want to know)

That was actually petty good. I rather enjoyed it. Hopefully you guys get to watch the video version- the one we watched was pretty cool, since the woman playing the mom had freakily light blue eyes.

I don't know if my teacher Ms. Welsh will show the movie after we finish the book... maybe she will... I don't think she would. The Scarlet Letter is rated 'R'. They can't show those movies in classes.

How old were you?
You have to legally be 17 before you can see anything R. They have to run movies that they want to show in school through the boards now.
