A Biology textbook.
I need to keep myself occupied with something interesting while I wait for my new adapter to arrive.

"Perfume" by Patrick Süskind
Probably the darkest and most demented book I'll ever read for school. Still very enjoyable, though.

100 dollars!? Boy, that's a lot of money to pay for books! As for me, I decided to leave off reading that biology book, since sometimes too much information can be mind-numbing, and switched to reading a couple of science fiction & fantasy novels. Dark Sister by Graham Joyce and The Sky People by S.M. Stirling

Currently reading His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. When I will be in the US, I will find a B&N store, raid it for the Tom Clancy, Jack Ryan novels that I don't have. I will also be on the lookout for Crichton, King and maybe buy few Discworld novels. I believe I will be buying for more than 100 dollars there.

"Perfume" by Patrick Süskind Probably the darkest and most demented book I'll ever read for school. Still very enjoyable, though. I just went through the last chapters of the book. What was supposed to be the execution of a serial killer finally turned out to be.... well, we're on a kid-friendly board, so I won't describe in detail the scene of 10000 people.... ahem.... to use some correct words, "going insane and totally losing control over themselves"... this was of a weird taste.... the ones who read the story know what I mean.

Got bored with Dark Sister because it was turning out to be not what I expected it to be. It was concerned more about the main character's family life and love life, than magic. I didn't like it.
I'm still reading The Sky People because it seems to be somewhat more interesting. I don't know for sure, but I'll stick with it for now.
What I'm also reading is the Backups for the Main Cars RP. This is because I'm trying to look for ideas to give the current RP itself a jumpkick to get it started again.
