Radiator Springs, Arizona.
It was early morning.
Today was the day that the Radiator Springs Cultural-Historical Museum was going to be recieving a new shipment of artifacts, mostly from the ancient home of the Navajo-Vipers, to be displayed in the new wings that wouldn't be exclusive to racing history. Ebony had gotten up early and had sent the twins off to school and then gone over to the museum to get thing ready for the arrival of the hauler that was going to be coming in a little later today.
She had roped in Guido and Wellington, the two resident forklifts, to help with the unloading once the hauler arrived in town.
Ebony turned back toward the town, knowing that everyone must still be asleep, including her own brother. Lucky him, she thought, He gets to sleep in while I have get up early every morning because I have a responsibility.
(((((OOC: Okay... here's where this RP begins... Feel free to join in... there's a tread in the brainstorming section if you want details...)))))

-Seth, a navy blue Peterbilt 379X, arrived at the museum right on schedule, hauling a set of double trailers full of Navajo artifacts. He parked in front of the museum, waiting for somebody to come and tell him where to take the load.-

Ebony came out of the front entrance with Guido and Wellington just as Seth pulled up. "Could you please take that around back?" she asked, pointing to the backlot behind the museum, "I'd be very grateful."

No problem. -Seth replied with a nod of his front. He backed up, and pulled the trailers into the back lot, waiting for directions of where to unhitch them.-

Ebony, Guido, and Wellington followed to make sure everything went without a hitch. "That'll do," she said as the trailers were parked in the back, "Now you may unhitch and let us start unloading. Thanks."

-Seth ditched the trailers.- I'm going to fuel up. I'll be back for the trailers. Where's your nearest station? -Those trailers were Seth's personal... he owned his own trailers, and hauled freelance for various companies.-

"It's right near that intersection in the center of town," Ebony pointed in the appropriate direction, "It's called Flo's V-8 Cafe. You can't miss it."

Thanks. -Seth drove off to get gas. He pulled up into a stall at the diner, and ordered an extra large can of fuel. It had been a long time since the last town, and he desperately needed gas.-

Ebony directed Guido and Wellington on the unloading of the cargo, which was pretty delicate and priceless in her opinion. The artifacts were a part of her cultural heritage and she wanted to preserve that and teach the children of Radiator Springs about the cultural and geographical history of the land around the town.
She looked up the ramp, moving out of the way as Wellington came down with a large package held in both of his forks.
"Be careful with that, Welly," the Viper cautioned, "Those are priceless and delicate."
"Aye, Lass," the one-eyed forklift responded in his Scottish accent, "I'll be might careful."
She nodded, "Thanks."
Again, she looked up the ramp, and wondered just how much Navajo artifacts there really were. It was a good thing that both forklifts had gone over to the next trailer to unload, so that left her with this one. Ebony drove up the ramp cautiously, her RPMs thrumming nervously.
Inside, there were just a few boxes left, which were small enough for her to carry, so she carefully placed them on her hood and backed out, taking them to her office in the museum to look them over more thoroughly.
She set one box on her desk and looked at it for a bit, wondering what was in there. Taking a box-cutter from the drawer, she slid it down parallel to the tape keeping it closed for shipment and drew open the lids and peered inside.
"Holy Chrysler..." she breathed, as she drew out two items that she knew that she didn't ask for, "What are these...?"
One of the items was an artifact that looked like an ancient goblet from an ancient civilization... and the other, however, looked like a faded piece of rolled-up paper that had been parched yellow over the years and had faded painted markings on them indicating that they were a guide to some location that an arrow was pointing at. She unrolled it and discovered what it was.
A treasure map? she wondered, looking at it, How is that possible that it came with all the Navajo artifacts? I have to go see Phoenix. She'd want to know.

The said Trans Am was making her way back from town after her workout at the Butte. She glanced at the Museum wondering if Ebony was already there this morning.

The two new trailers that had arrived with the new shipment of artifacts was an indication that Ebony had been already supervising the unloading. Right now, she was still in her office just looking at the objects, a gold goblet and a treasure map and wondering what to do.

Phoenix nosed the main doors open and pulled into the lobby. "Hey Ebs, you around somewhere?"

Ebony blinked and liffted her front at the sound of a familiar voice. "I'm in here, Nix," she called from her office.

Phoenix nosed the office door open. "Hey Ebs, see you're already been busy this morning."

Ebony moved away from her desk to show the golden goblet and the rolled up treasure map on top. "Yeah... I've been busy today," then she pointed with her antenna over to her desk with the said items, "and I've found something interesting."
