"Woah," Phoenix said as she saw the goblet. "Did it come with your shipment?"

"Not that I can recall," Ebony shook her front, "and I didn't ask for it. But that's not all."
She picked up the old parchment and unrolled it, "Take a look at this."

Phoenix pulled close to look at the map Ebony was holding. "Is that what I think it is..."

Ebony nodded. "Yeah, same thing I thought. It's a treasure map. But I'm not sure why it was among all the Navajo artifacts. It doesn't even look like it belongs to the Navajo."

"Its not," Phoenix said looking at one of its corner. "See this inscription," she pointed at it with a tire. "its in Latin. And there's a date too... 1717... I think."
(((http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackbeard. It was said that he has a large stash of treasure buried that hasn't been found. Maybe it could be that. It would have them all along the east coast and maybe even other places.)))

"1717? It's that old?" Ebony blinked, looking at the inscription on the corner, "Could it some kind of pirate's treasure or something? Dang, I wish I knew Latin. I don't know what it says."

"Let me see if I can figure any of it out. I've been working on my Latin..." "I can defiantly make out something, roughly translates to 'Blacksail'..."

"Blacksail... He's one of the pirates I've read about, I think," said Ebony, "Exacted terror along the Spanish Main and burned and sank dozens of merchant ships. I've read that he had up to fourteen wives or so. He was cornered by two British warships whom he fought, but lost battle and his life. They say in the legends that his treasure is vast, but there's no way to locate it."

"Maybe this might be the key," Phoenix said. "This looks like a coastal region. Maybe somewhere along the east coast."

"That's a pretty long way away from here," observed Ebony, "We're in the middle of the desert. I think someone sent this map to me for some reason, but I have no idea why."

"Who knows," Phoenix said. "There might be more clues where. Maybe we should go check it out. I've been up and down the coast when I street-raced and when I'm on the circuit. Where was the box shipped from?"

Ebony picked up the box from her desk and looked closely at it. "That's strange..." she said a little uncertainly, "There's no return address... It's like whoever the sender was wants me to figure this out myself... That's never happened to me before..."

Phoenix looked at the box and took a look at the goblet. "Lets ask who dropped it off and go from there."

"That would be a good idea," said Ebony, "C'mon out back and we'll see what we can find out."
