<<< New thread!>>>
As night came on again, there were howls in the distance. Doc pointed out a small box canyon to the rest of the party. "Might be the best place to stop. Anything large and hungry will have to try to get by Mater and I."
Ronald raised his hand, signalling everyone else to halt. "We'll camp here for the night."

(((((OOC: How about we let it go to 100 pages than start over on a new thread, just like we did with the Main Cars RP.)))))
Jade halted Mele Burnak with a gentle, yet firm pull on the reigns and dismounted. She had heard the howls off in the distance and shuddered visibly. Having never seeing quadwolves before, she didn't know what to expect, but hoped Doc and Mater knew how to handle a situation if it comes to that.

Ebony had spent the better part of the afternoon with Kestrel and Falcon, just resting with them in the stall. She was tired from the long journey, but felt relieved that she had accomplished her task of retreiving Raine.
Her thoughts went to the other party that was still out there and hoped that they were all okay.
~~~~~
Delfina had decided just to spend a bit of peace and quiet in the center court with a notebook and sketching whatever came to her mind. After today, she just wanted to relax.
~~~~~
Anita had finished her spying and was now in her quarters going over the information that she had gathered that day. She had learned that they had put up a firewall and given everybody permanent email accounts. She had gotten one just so she wouldn't bring the suspicion onto her.
But that firewall. Now, she just had to figure out some way to get past it without giving herself away.

Aron came out of the workshop after a long day of working. The metal had started to react bit funny when he was attaching it to the Rover, but in the end, he got it on, and the switch inside near the dashboard. He had to find a replacement switch as it was origionally not quite designed for humans, but at least the wiring was good for quick replace. And he had finished the job ten minutes ago.
Now he was up for some communication time after having working almost nonstop on the visor, taking breaks only for food and bathroom.

<<< Depends if Doc is also carrying a like device, and I don't know if he's the type to use one, many people his age wouldn't bother with it unless they HAD to use it in the course of their work. Someone else might get the signal or part of it.
As for Anita, a "Honeypot" is a feature, such as an apparent security flaw, in a computer network or other setup designed to lure hackers or others trying to manipulate things for their own ends. The admin would then be able to find out if someone has been fooling around with it and where.>>>
Joshua had his PDA on, just in case his stepmother or someone else called from base. "Looks like Raine didn't turn HERS off." He suppressed a snicker.

Raine sighed in defeat before getting up from her bed to turn her laptop on, selecting some depressing song to play as she turned it up full blast like a stereo, and flopped onto the bed again, quietly singing the notes to herself.

"Why? What for?" asked Jade as she was tending to Mele Burnak.
~~~~~
Anita had managed to find a way in, piggybacking off of someone else's account, in which she could go about her devious business without anyone discovering her.
Joshua whispered as he passed Jade, leading his horse into the canyon. "Guess she sees that Hudson guy as a kind of Daddy now."
Joshua wasn't a bad guy at all, but he was nineteen and still had a bit of emotional growing-up to do.
A steely gaze from Ronald silenced him for now, and the one-time Grey's Scout captain was not a man to be trifled with.
Jade rolled her eyes, "I don't see nothing wrong with that." Then she turned her attention back to Mele Burnak.
Martin thought a bit.
"Actually the firewall blocks 'ping' requests and such, and makes any route tracing almost impossible. Any incoming signal, e-mail reception for example, cannot be done without being SSL-encrypted. We don't have a domain name here, since we didn't reserve one, but our IP is not really ours since we're under a stack of proxy servers. That slows down things a bit, but we're more than safe."
He wrote something on his PDA screen: "I'll do what I can. In fact, the mail accounts are already created, people just have to know it and use them."
Raine stood up and tried to put her hands in her pockets when she felt the PDA in one of them. To her horror, when she pulled it out she noticed that it was still on and realized what she had done. "Ohhhh! Oh no, oh no, oh no!!! What have I done! Ooooh! I bet the others heard me! stupid thing!" She threw it on her bed in embarassment and put a hand to her mouth. "They'll be cracking jokes and taunts on me now..."
((OOC: All I can wonder about which one's account got hijacked.))
After walking for awhile, Aron saw Delfina sketching. He sat down next to her and looked at what she was drawing. "Pretty good, all I can do is CAD and design stuff."
"Thanks," Delfina answered, "I started when I was 6 and kept practicing until I got better. Normally, I use this to sketch rocks and other stuff related to my profession, but I can find other subjects as well." What she was sketching was the fish pond in front of her. (((((OOC: I'm not telling... > )))))
"Good," Tess nodded. "We'll still be keeping an eye on any anomalies. Well, I shouldn't be keeping you."
Outside the mountain, work crews were setting up temporary paddocks for the horses and other livestock, out of metal posts and electrical fencing. They had spent more time underground than it was figured that they should. The next morning, they would turn out the animals now that the vegetation was found to be safe for them to eat. Shayla, Kathleen and Robin watched them work.
Joshua was still chortling as he tied his horse and started to unsaddle it.
Dawn was passing by Raine's quarters and overheard her beating herself up. What was that about, now?
Raine was now proceeding to bang her head on a nearby wall in self-punishment for her big mouth when she heard someone knock on the door. "Yes?"
