Hey, this is Danni from CFU. Tentatively joining these forums to see if they'll be enjoyable. I find the rules are stricter here than they are at CFU, and I won't be able to have as much freedom of expression here as I did at CFU... but CFU is dead, now, so I'm going to at least give a shot at finding a new Cars home, here. Wish me luck.

Hello, fellow Refugee! Well! Glad to see you here and welcome aboard where the tuners roam free and the forums have that new forums smell (Which smells strangely like Pizza!)

The rules are actually open to a lot of interpretation. After all, I'm not going to jump down your throat for posting something about religion or the like, and "no trolling" is sort of a no brainer. ;3
The only reason I try to avoid a lot of heavy cursing is because, as this is a kid's movie, there's going to be a lot of younger folks that may be reading and we don't want parents jumping down our throats. I'll probably lift that one eventually, but overall... yeah. Pretty open to interpretation.

Yes, I can understand the reasoning for many of your rules, and you yourself always seem like a very agreeable, tolerant, and friendly person. I don't disagree with any of those rules at all! They're all great rules and pretty standard on forums of all kinds. I won't bring up the one that kind of bothers me (I've never seen this rule before and I haven't seen any forums have issues with it without the rule in place) as I'm afraid to get banned as soon as I step foot here, and I think surpressing some of my opinions about the film is necessary, because when it comes down to it, if I want to be accepted here, I'm going to have to - and I have no other place to go.

I actually updated the one I think was iffy for ya. ;3
Just be sure to post warning tags and you'll be cool. It's nothing I'd ban you for, anyway.
...only people I'd ban are trolls. X3

I hate to sound unintelligent but what's trolling? I know I've never done it before but I want to make sure what it is exactly so I don't do it on accident. (I'm not good with computers )

(I'm not good with computers ) You don't sound unintelligent, don't worry. Trolling is basically either spamming (posting threads with nothing in them, like threads that say 'hi' and 'i love cars' and nothing else, or posting a bunch of threads that flood the whole forum) OR posting mean things to someone else.

X3 That's amazing that you did that, really. I appreciate it. I would never, ever post a fanfic of that type here, simply because there are better places to do that (like the livejournal community) and I would never post art of it either, for the same reason. There are places where it would be recieved better, where people would expect it and get more enjoyment out of it. I just didn't want to have to hide that I support it, should it ever come up in a conversation. Like, if someone posted a thread asking who is best for who, or asked what pairing you like the most - with a rule like that, I would be excluded from the conversation. I don't know why it makes me so uncomfortable, but it does. Thank you for changing that rule. I doubt you'll ever see anything from me even regarding that subject - I just didn't want to have to hide it.

No worries. I wouldn't get on ya about something so minor as that. ^^ Thanks - I apologise if I came off as hostile at all. I was just getting really, really tired of seeing that rule in all the forums I was looking at - CFU was the only forum without that rule and I was sad I couldn't find another. I guess I just didn't like the idea of being as "included" as other members. These forums are already proving to be supremely better than CFU, not to mention easier on my eyes.
