I think the Prius is kind of cute, although it still gets ugly points for that weird blocky rear-end and cartoonishly small wheels. In any case, neither I nor any other Bahraini will ever own one since oil literally grows out of the ground around here... Anyways, I never thought I'd ever post a Merc here, but it's the unfortunate truth that even the biggest Benz freak will have a hard time liking this: At least Porsche and BMW are making their SUVs fast and luxurious. This is just wrong.

Now that I think about it...it does. Probably those huge puffy "cheeks".
Now I'd just like to add any '80s economy car or family car to the list. I'll admit that there were some really good-looking sports cars from that era(Trans Am, Supra, and Ferrari Testarossa come to mind), but the average everyday cars of that decade were probably the most boring, plain, soulless machines to roll out of auto factories since Karl Benz invented the Motorwagen.
Like Richard Hammond once said when describing an old Nissan Sunny: "You can't even call it ugly. Ugly cars have personality,"

I'm not usually one to say that any cars are ugly, but this thing takes the cake. It's called a "Smart Car"... it don't look very smart to me.

Those green panels remind me of the interchangeable face plates on CD players, imagine if you could change your Smart car to match your outfit. XD
On the bright side, I could see myself actually being able to parallel park that baby.

well i believe the pannels are interchangeable actually. and aparently, they can be parked lengthway in the width of a parking spa... wait... why am i defending it? you're right, it's useless impracticle tosh. and hey. th countach was, is and always will be way sexier'n the tosserboxa... testarossa sorry. though i am tempted to find a regular production car fo the 80s that's cool no... ooh... the 1st MR2. 80s. afordable. sexy. HAH! I am a genius! I didnt even have to do a search.

Sadly, we have those Smarts in QC. Probably a matter of time before they invade the rest of America.

I've seen a couple of them around here in Washington State, in farm country nonetheless, too! (I think they were tourists, they had out of state license plates.)

I WANT them! I actually like them. Quite a bit. That green makes it look like pea soup, though. Parking lengthwise in a parking space? I could get into that.

Doesn't seem to matter much in which direction you park that car since it's almost as long as it is wide

There's this car for a business that's always parked in our town near the petrol station, and it's... well... FREAKY. I can't begin to describe it, but I don't have a picture of it either. I will say, though, that it has round headlights like those of a Miata, and it's shaped like a quarter of a circle. -shudder- (However, there's also a car always parked not far from there that is UBER-COOL: it looks just about like Ramone! )

i find it odd that so many people laud mercedes here, yet here we have two of their cars that no one likes; the a class and the smart car.
