I just rented this movie and I gotta tell ya, it is very powerful. Don't let any sort of box office reports fool you. This is a great movie and needs to be seen by everyone.
One downside though: If you are really sensitive and cry at emotional movies a lot, you might not want to watch this. Luckily, I'm not that emotional.

Nice movie. You were right. There were some dramatic moments in the film. Overall it was a good movie.

My brother's a big Nicholas Cage fan, so it was enevitable that I was to see it. There was a plus side: after he bought the DVD and watched it once, I got to keep it.
I thought it was good, and done in a very tasteful manner. At times it felt just a little too sappy, but the accuracy to the true story behind it made up for those faults.

I think it's disrespectful to turn tragedy into a hollywood movie and make money from suffering.

It's also dishonorable to those who died. God, I remember seeing that second plane crash right into the South Tower live on television. And I remember how loud I screamed that I scared my mom.
Tragedy like that can never be reproduced because those lost lives can never be brought back. Let them rest in peace.

i remember seeing it(the real thing) in my classroom when i was in 7th grade..the whole school stopped teaching and turned on their televisions to watch it..it took awhile to sink in...it's bad how things so bad can happen so randomly and without warning..it made us feel so vulnerable...

You know what's really dishonorable? Saying the whole thing was a conspiracy "inside job," despite the mountains of evidence to the contrary. A collapse that intense was also very unique in so many ways that it would be illogical to compare it to the scheduled implosions of old, deteriorating concrete structures. If anybody ever tells you to go see a little video called Loose Change, be sure to have THIS accessible.
