Arista might catch a slight cold during a stopover, but she would try to tell the others that she was alright and that she was still capable of traveling. But, she could be in the air and she'd most possible would wander off if she was in such a condition. Maybe she'd veer off suddenly and head in the wrong direction. That would make the others try to chase her and stop her. And when they do stop her, they'd be in unfamiliar territory and they wouldn't know where they were at.

That would have more plausibility.

Yes. She would also be just a little bit stubborn (the illness would make her act like that) so there would have to be some way to force her down to the ground without harming her. Maybe some magic from Ethan would help.

If Justin goes on this trip, he could also provide a "runaway" opportunity that could take them way off-course, and lead them on a quite merry chase.

Yeah, I was thinking of making him go along anyway. Justin will probably still be having these communication issues and would only know how to express himself by doing something drastic. I think he's actually like he mother used to be before she met everybody at Radiator Springs.

I've made a time jump to next morning. So is anyone else want to rejoin or is it still just Eva and me?

Is it too late to join this? Cause I have an idea to bring Cam and Raheem's kids in.

Anyone can join in whenever they want. Keep in mind that the kids are going on a trip on Route 66 to Chicago.

I've just read through this topic, and I liked some of the magic and interdimensional travel ideas. Although I guess we couldn't use them if they're gonna cause problems...
You know, it's sort of sad writing about the original OCs now that they're all old and nearly retired, and in some cases dead. I wonder if we're going to go even farther into the future(Can anyone say "Hover Cars RP"? XD).

Well, the main focus in this RP is going to be on the children of the original OCs. This is who we're going to give all the action, drama, and adventure to. The originals may come in again or not. Maybe split the storyline into two parts and have one dedicated to the children and the other dedicated to the orginal OCs. We could probably come up with something interesting to do with the originals, though. Actually, the interaction between the children and the originals is a good because it helps to establish some sort of realism to the RP. But I really don't know about an RP farther into the future...

I know the focus is on the kids...I was just saying how I never expected that I would be writing about Cam this far into the future(and I thought Full Circle was pretty far off ). Yeah, introducing the original OCs to show what they are doing and how they've changed until now is definitely a good idea, but it doesn't have to become a whole seperate storyline. Once the trip starts, the focus will probably be completely on the kids, except for maybe an occasional phone call or an OC they meet on the road or something.

Some of the original OC that I have that are not in Radiator Springs is Rosa, my spikey tuner. For how she would be in C:TNG, Rosa would be a famous singer, a mother, and an occasional writer. Right now, she would be touring the US. The kids would probably run into her at some point and time. She'd be obliged to stop and hold an impromtu concert.
I also have Huntress, Amber, and General Lee (with their families) that would be down south in someplace like Georgia or Texas.
And it would've been really interesting if the human idea could've been used, but someone thinks it's going to go the same way as the TIRS rp. But I think that was only because the setting was in one location only and didn't allow for expansion of the characters. I would've really loved to be able to use my human character, Delfina, in an RP, but I guess that I'm not allowed now. Such a shame and very disappointing.

I don't think I'll bring in the Bachmanns and their kids, but I'm planning for some kind of reference to them. By the time of this RP, John and Elena would be running their father's company together. George himself would be retired.
And if I remember correctly, the reason TIRS died out is because people couldn't agree on the reason why the humans would be transported to the Carsverse. Now that we already have a reason, I don't see why we couldn't bring back the idea.

The humans in the Carsverse was originally my idea.
Well, there was my Stargate idea because I thought it would be easy and uncomplicated enough (and it would be some sort of alien technological device like the one in the movie), as well as the idea of humans that would be transported unexpectedly by an alien intelligence and dropped in a new world where they were not the dominant species, but I don't agree with the transportation to the Carsverse by computer disc because it seems rather difficult for me to even fathom. I don't have the brain capacity to understand computer-speak and in the TIRS, I got left in the dust alot because the storyline was getting more uninteresting and hard to keep up with that it wasn't even fun anymore, and besides, I think that there would be humans that had never touched a computer in their lives and still be transported to the Carsverse by some other means. But no, it was "transport the humans through touching a technological device like a computer or a PDA during an electric storm or you can't participate in this RP" kind of attitude that was an ultimatum by a certain someone. I had to leave the RP because of that and the RP just about died out.
The idea has again been brought up (not by me this time, but by Eva) in which, while the kids are on their trip they run across a small society of humans. There would've been a confrontation of sorts between them and the kids would get curious and would want to learn about these strange creatures, even help them if they were ever in trouble.
I had a human character that was named Delfina Thompson that I wanted to use in this storyline, have her be part of this human society and she would probably be the go-between for the the humans and the kids.
Also, I've been trying to come up with some form of society that the humans would have created to survive in a world dominated by sentient vehicles, I wanted to make it seem as if they were in a combination of a steampunk/cyberpunk society, where there'd be farmers, wolfbikeriders (which I think Delfina will be a member of), hackers, spies, assassins, scientists, and the like (something like Final Fantasy Advent Children), who'd all want to survive and make a living by what they do best.

You know, it would almost be worth it to start that as a separate RP. I could do the intro and people would be free to join or not.
