Got me thinking for a moment. Egill, in the TT, is kind of a special case. His spirit is actually bound in a physical item (in Joltsen, silver fused inside one of his pistons), so he can't be removed easily from one he is bound to, and if any alive creature touches the item, he can easily posess them and force them to hold on to it.
I can perhaps create a similar character, with similar predictament. Imagin being stuck like some lump of gold or silver, waiting for maybe a century before some alive being touches it. That character would be a bit more evil than Egill, who is looking for salvation, and shows the more powerhungry side of his.

From the new bodywork that Rosa has, she probably has gold rims, in which the demon had been residing. Once it's taken possession of her body, it can control her however it wants, despite her protests.
It would probably be most interested in what it could do with her spikes.

Either I need to work on what trigger can be used to awaken the demon (I dobut it would just be there sleeping or in teh background for so long without acting.
I would be more comfy with finding some charm in the desert, but that's just me.
Sorry about the spelling, have to type quickly

The old idea (at least from the RPs) was of a powerful sorceror or sorceress (like Veronica) sending small, nasty critters called Seekers to possess the body of an unfortunate victim, but pushing the mind to the backburner (like a backseat driver). There was one incident where a character got possessed by one and it left mental scars for that unfortunate character. Rosa was absolutely terrified of this.
I think I need Eva's input on this. She probably knows more of this than I do.

What I know from the TT is that seekers are mindless demons, which can be employed to cause general havoc, or seek out an individual to kill and posess.

So someone's got to send these Seekers out to get someone and use Rosa as a living vessel to do that.
But I'm at a loss at what to do about this.

Since my idea got shot, and I am too braindead to think of something else, you better get Eva for this.

Reading through the RP Backups, I found two interesting ideas.
How about introducing either...
A group of Purists - don't like mixed-breeds and think that only purebreeds should inhabit the Earth - fanatically religious, in which they follow a strict creed that defines their lifestyle - think they're better than everyone else and show it too with their behavior and personalities - distributes propaganda about those that they dislike (i.e. politicians, mixed-breeds, anybody that disagrees with them, etc.) - thinks that mixed-breeds are savages and not "civilized" like they are
Reasons is because practically the whole town of Radiator Springs has mixed-breeds inhabiting it right now.
or...
Johnny and Trav Ford's mother (ba-ba-dum!) comes to town. From the previous RPs, she's a mean lady (forgot what model she was, but her name's Diana Ford and she's the older sister of Cassie Ford, the latter being Doc's late girlfriend) that lives up in Dearborn, Michigan that REALLY dislikes her sons and the feeling's mutual. She might've been spurred to come to Radiator Springs by Doc's visit.
Reasons is that this came from the minds of Rizahawkeye and ChibiJaime, but has never been elaborated on.

I think I may have a way to liven that angle up. Plainly put: we haven't had a character death as far as I can tell. There have been close calls in the Main RP, but for New Beginnings, I was pondering the possibility that one of our characters may pass away due to curious circumstances. At her introduction, it was established Natalie didn't like tuners and less-than-whole bred folks. I'd imagine her opinion of the latter would have changed in her experience at RS. Maybe, after all that, she could have become an advocate of sorts for the down-trotted in her hometown back in Wisconsin. The skinny of the plan: Natalie's death could look like a complete accident, but maybe these Purists had a more sinister hand in it, something to do with eliminating her as a pro-half-breed individual despite her pure heritage. I know Natalie didn't really develop a lot of friendships, besides Meredith and Shawn. Depending on how long it is between Main RP and 'New Beginnings', that is subject to change. That wouldn't have to be the main storyline; just a little something on the side that the Purists could be suspected of, but there isn't any real way to prove it. It'd give me a possible window to bring Cyrus, Nat's "cousin", in. I know. It conflicts with EV's Five Years in the Future. But Natalie is only briefly mentioned in Chapter 7 as having potential to become Hydro's SO. It could easily be altered or removed. Again, I don't mean for it to be anything big. Just a probable element.
