It would be conceivable that the reps, being well-meaning, might also be taken in by George's spiel. I would assume Ebony would not be in a mood to make these fine distinctions.

He'd use syrupy words and act like a concerned grandparent, wanting his grandchildren to grow up in a proper home with someone with the experience to take care of them. And Ebony certainly wouldn't be in the mood to deduce such distinctions. She would probably be quite irritable and would most likely just want the reps to leave her alone. It would take her friends to figure it out and take action.

Ebony could have some quite potent defenders -- don't forget that Sally, being an attorney, might have had some experience in dealing with the aftermath of questionable adoptions and their effects on the children and families involved. She might have also represented adoptees or natural parents at some point. These opportunists hovering around like flies would have her seeing red.

Sally would be good friend and defender. I think she was the first one to tell Ebony that she was accepted and seen as a friend instead of someone who was different.

I could just see her ordering the esteemed Mr. Sanders and his baby broker associate off the property after a particularly egregious episode, and Darcy running them off when they won't take the hint, much to the amusement of everyone else. On the way back, she encounters her old tormentor Sam Diamond pulling Bessie along with her stepfather, and responds with a massive gunning of the engine that causes them to um... have embarrassing accidents. Now, to set this in motion...

When can this happen? Could George and the baby-broker arrive at the same time?

Maybe the day right after the party, to give everyone some breathing room. The Dodge reps could come about the same time as well. I could manage them.

Okay. I'll play George then.
So, when's the bonfire party going to start?

The Dodge reps are apart from the baby-broker, but could be susceptible to his pitches. I'll get the fire lit tomorrow and the party can begin then.

George will probably say that he "just wants what's best for his daughter and her babies"... He's like Tony Blitz, only with more greed thrown in...
And tomorrow is good... I'll be back from the doctors' by then...

I had this idea.
What if an old diary was found by one of the kids in one of the old, abandoned shops that used to belong to a former resident, who turns out to be a wiccan? It could have natural remedies, lists of herbs, and journal entries. It could also unlock someone's powers. Of course, there's no new characters that have been introduced for that.

I don't mind the RP taking a bit of a rest while we think things over. I have an idea for a new character who is a hovercraft, and I've been researching the machines. As a quite uncommon race with amphibious capability, that might open up a few possibilities.

Great. My idea is getting ignored. Like always.

I'm still thinking on that one, Ebony, wondering how that could come about. Which kids do you have in mind?

Well, there's Jade, Trav, and Aaron. They could be exploring and find the diary.
I'm thinking that this is linked to one of Ebony's ancestors.
