Inspired by a similar thread on CFU.
Since almost all the characters in Cars are based on real-life car designs, you're bound to see one in real life sooner or later. So, which ones have you seen?
I'll start: Tex- Although most people seem to list him as a Cadillac DeVille, he bears more than a striking resemblance to a 1989 Chevy Caprice Classic, which my dad used to own. Minny- Looks sort of like our Chrysler Grand Voyager. Same paintjob and all. Van- Quite a few boxy minivans driving around here... Sally- One of our neighbors owns a 911, which I occasionally glimpse if he has his garage open. The bugs- Another neighbor owns a yellow classic Beetle, which as far as I can tell is in very good condition. Mack- A few days after first watching the movie, we passed by an industrial area on the way to the beach and saw him there.
Also, I got to see Michael Schumacher race in person at the 2006 Bahrain Grand Prix, although that race belonged to Alonso.

Sally - The only 911 in the country, and I saw it passing by as I waited for the bus.
Luigi - I remember seeing a Fiat some time ago
Sheriff - Light blue paintjob, but I am sure that is he. I have seen him few times before, and can pin down where he usually appears.
Mack - Saw one sometimes before seeing the movie, but I remembered the name and the grille.

For Sally, I've got one. An honest-to-goodness Carrera 996 (which is what Sally would be, as she's a 2004 model) that someone at my university drives. About the same color, too.
A guy that drops by my store drives a 1949 Mercury Cruiser (Sheriff), and I've seen more than just a few 1959 Impalas around town (none with totally wicked paint jobs, but there).
Every crew chief in the world (as there is a gentleman in town with a Ford F550), and... I have touched the King. I've seen and touched the real, honest to goodness, 1970 Petty blue #43 Superbird.

Well, I've seen so far:
Sally (I happen to live near a Porsche dealership. Lucky old me)
Mia/Tia (Mazda MX5s, as they're known in good old blighty, in a variety of different colours)
Fillmore (Nothing with any crazy paint schemes, but I did once see a guy who would have been a dead ringer for a humanized version of him a while back. Do I get any extra points for going off course there?)
Minny and Van (plenty of people carriers in my neck of the woods - and also a strange amount of pick up trucks as well. This ain't America, ferchrissakes!)
The VW Bugs
And finally, Luigi
That's about it so far, people.

I see Mias and Tias all over the place.
I've seen Tex, Red, and Lizzie. That's pretty much it, though I've seen things that are close...
Like a Jeep Wrangler, which would be the closest thing to Sarge you're going to see on the road, and the 70s version of Fillmore.

My fiance's uncle has a Tin Lizzie. X3
A guy in my town has some old military-style jeeps... don't know if he has a Sarge among them, though. And a fellow who lives near here used to have a Fillmore-van... hippy paint and all!

MAN You guys see VW Buses like they're all over the place. ._. Luckyyy.
Anyway, I take extreme lookout to see any classic VWs, particularly Beetles. Not a lot of them, though.
Seen some Buick Regals (Chick) lately. Also some Miatas. Many many Scion xB's, and Carreras.

I see a Luigi nearly everyday, and they guy who got is does not live far away from our house. There are about 5 or 6 in the town BUT these are not Fiat 500s most of them are "Puch 500s", Puch is an Austrian manufacturer who bought the license from Fiat and used (just) the car body on this model, the convertible version was the most popular one, the model is also called "Puch Wagen" and is a total cult here. I also see many VW beetles, Fillmore buses and Sally Carreras around oh and I also saw one Michael Schumacher Ferrari F430 a few weeks ago on the highway and one in Italy when we were there for vacation.
Oh and because you mentioned it, just two weeks ago we saw a Buick Regal at the parking place at our local mall. It had a crossed out license-plate from Indiana and above it a blue Austrian one (the blue ones are limited in use) AND it snowed, THAT looked soo wrong. *LOL* Like a colourful parrot at the Himalayas... You really rarely see any American brand cars (except Ford) around here, and if there are some they are a real eye-catcher for everybody.

If Jeep Wranglers count as Sarge(which makes sense, seeing how the Wrangler is the direct modern descendant of the Willys WW2 Jeep...), then count him too.
I also just remembered that I saw a few Crew Chiefs, even though American pick-ups are nowhere near as common here as Japanese ones.

Sally, mainly. The amount of Porsche Carreras (Not sure if they're 996) running around Belfast is rediculous. I even saw one in the middle of Mid-Ulster! I wonder if Cars made them popular...
I also saw Fillmore.

There was a parade a few days ago. There were three or four vintage WWII Willys Jeeps. I couldn't have seen a better Sarge.
