For All You NASCAR Fans...

A little something I wrote up. I know it's not fanfiction, but this seemed like the only place it would fit. It's a rewrite of the song "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music. And you'll have to forgive me for the end of the second line of the first verse- I couldn't find anyone whose name rhymed with "Junior".

My Favorite Things (About NASCAR)

There’s Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Junior
Jimmie and Martin as well as Ken Shrader
Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon too
The Bush’s and Waltrip and Nemechek- WOOO!

Pit stops and pit crews ready for a crisis
Garages with toolboxes and HANS devices
Tires and ratchets and air pumps abound
Hammers and wipe rags and oil all around

Victory doughnuts and climbing the fences
Outside walls padded just in case of crashes
Banked corners and drafting and cars going fast
Fans in the stands and having such a blast

When the cars crash
When the tire’s flat
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Heh. I couldn't think of anything to completely replace the last verse. Sorry. Enjoy!
