is it me, or is the current F1 season riding almost freakily close to the story of Lightning McQueen?
no rookie's ever won the championship... along comes some new hotshot who seems to just win all the time... and... in the clinching race, the rookie crashes... and now, for the last race, th championship is winnable by 3 people.
all we need now is for the Brazilian grn prix to completely tie the season 3 ways and for there to be a race-off declared of some sort eh?

really? ever since i heard that Hamilton could be the firs rookie ever to win the F1 championship the Cars analogy was in my head, since it just was the same (baring the championship obviously) line as said at the start of Cars.

Personally I've also seen a similarity between Cars and last year's season, mainly the competiton between the young hotshot(although not really a rookie) Alonso, and the retiring legend Schumacher. Although unlike Cars, the hotshot won that one.
This year is pretty similar too...I like to think of Raikkonen as Chick Hicks, the guy who's desperate to win year after year but is always overshadowed.
