"I cannot get over with how many downloads were on that porno someone found in humanverse." Miles said. "I know part of it is curiousity in the teenager demographic, but still -"
Harold was silent for a moment. The implants could easily be used to hurt the kid, or coax him into doing something worse and demeaning for him. "And how do you go around removing it?" He asked as bringing up the files on his onboard system.
"I can see that." Phoebe said. "But you got to be very good at strengthening the relationship between the clans. The reason for why there are so few Boeing/Airbus crosses is because of the rivalry between the clans."
"I wouldn't bet on that." Christine said. "I look mostly airbus, but got a purebred Boeing creep going after me last night."

"Trying to keep teenagers away from smut is like trying to keep nascent oxygen from recombining." Picard noted drily. "It's like a program constantly running in the background of their fevered little brains. Of course they'd go for it!"
"Just disconnect the master module." Rolph-Carl answered. "It's not like what I used before, on my boat girls. The weakness was in the wireless nature of the link. It could be interfered with by jamming."
"That's something we're still working on." Jon said. "We've been screening certain descendants of F-106 and F-108 lines. Irony is, they're pretty much adrift these days while we have the organization and resources."

"I'm more worried about that someone gets off it." Helen said.
"If we run into trouble with him when we need a second draw, I'll consider it." Harold said firmly. The conversation was disturbing. Rolph was a sociopath, but highly functional.
"Good luck." Phoebe said.

"We still have to handle it carefully." Zoe said. "They're quite aware that they had fortune's blessing back in the 50's, but now we've got the rimball and the free kick is ours to make."
Picard winced. "This is starting to remind me of what Amara was saying to Christine and I, about her kids getting into her ex's porn stash. Wonder if he had a bit of that as well?"
"Very well." Rolph-Carl was casting off. "Off we go now." He moved into the main outbound harbor channel, becoming just another bit of traffic.

"As far as I know, that video is the only piece of human porn circulated among the carversians." Gates said. "We got some of our own, but haven't distributed that, or whoever that has gotten copies of that is carefully keeping them secret."
"And Picard." Miles said. "Don't tell me you hit on Amara. Because I can barely figure out a way for you to discuss porn other than with some sort of related opening."
A dark blue male Ford Focus came inside the room. "Hey Phoebe. How are the kids?" He asked.
"They're playing some rimball at the moment Clancy." Phoebe answered and looked at the clock. "I guess it is time for school to start." She said.
"Give me a moment to prepare the classroom." Clancy said and went inside adjacent room.

"Nothing of the kind." Picard assured Miles, "I was at the club three days ago, and some creep was all over Christine and wouldn't take no for an answer. Needless to say, he had to leave and he did, after some "encouragement". That's when Amara told us more about her ex than we really wanted to know."
"C'mon, hon." Zoe called her son back, then turned to Phoebe. "Thank you for your time."
"Bye, Gloria." Dylan said to the shuttle girl.

"It was no problem." Phoebe said. Gloria also said her goodbyes to Dylan. "The kids need to know more kids their age, and not just shuttles."
"I'll see you later." Christine said. "Thanks for letting them see them."
"Like I said, there was no problem." Phoebe smiled.
"Poor Christine." Helen said. "Stuck in a vicious circle."
"What do you mean?" Gates asked.
"While she doesn't really want to have anything to do with men, she may want to in the future. But because of the scuttlebug going around - which, I may add, she hasn't tried to stop - that she's a carpet muncher, it would be hard to find a catch other than some that would be looking for a future filled with threesomes a la bleu cinéma."

Dylan looked back at Gloria as he followed his parents out with Christine. Zoe noted this. "I think he's got his first crush."
"That's exactly what the guy hit on her for." Picard snorted. "Told her of the bi-curious girlfriend, and everything. Fifty dollars says his girlfriend is actually straight as a pin and had no idea he was going to spring this on her."

"You better hope then the crush is just a crush." Christine said low. "Given what you said about mating with Deltas. I've heard that this group of shuttles can go in-model breeding for three-four generations due to the genetic diversity, like the Okas."
"It had to come, sooner or later." Gates said. "Can't get rid of the opportunistic bastards."

"I'm dying to find this girl." Picard chortled, "And tell her everything he did."
"You're a born sh*t disturber!" Pilar smirked.
"Yes, I've been told." The shuttle admitted, with a complete lack of remorse.
"Speaking of which..." Zoe looked around. "I just saw Bree LeVasseur's little girl, Jeanette. She's a regular little tornado, making her parents' muzzles go grey before their time. I haven't seen the first two Oka in a while, they're still in the other world, but I hear they give their parents conniptions with everything they eat. They're definitely something to see."

Gates went over to the vertical zero-gee beds after he had lost all his tokens on purpose. "I am going to grab some shuteyes before we have to prepare for the satellite." He said.
"Alright." Miles said. "We'll be quiet."
"I haven't really seen an Oka in person." Christine said. "Seen photos of them though."

"Should we rock you to sleep?" Lionel cracked. "Maybe Picard can arrange that."
The oldest are nine years old." Zoe said. "And you should see them scarfing down apples like they were horses."

"Laugh it up guys, and gals." Gates said as getting in the bag. He had to be in a good shape before working with the satellite, so most of the time when the route to the satellite was more than three hours, he opted for sleep.
"Picard, what can you tell me about that guy who harassed Christine, maybe we can figure out who is his girlfriend, so you don't have to figure it out when on the ground." Helen asked. "Maybe get Pilar to gain sympathetic ear in Control willing to search for us."
"And I thought was was an urban myth." Christine said. "But I bet they gave their parents quite a scare when they did that the first time."

"Yes, they did." Zoe rolled her eyes. "They watched the kids for a week afterwards, and they didn't show any ill effects. Their systems processed it into sugars and starches and then something their engines could burn. They do it with grain, corn, nuts and seeds as well, sweet feed is their favorite. The scientists are still wondering how they do it at all."
Picard hmmm'd as he recalled, "The guy was a 787, about mid-20's, and obviously figured himself to be Chrysler's gift to women. He's mostly white with an orange flash on the tail, and orange head with gold striping. His first name is Rick, didn't get his last. It should have been "Dick", that suited him."
"Sure, I'll ask them." Pilar nodded.

"Rick means Richard." Miles said. "And Christine only goes to the Officer's Club as far as I know, narrows it down a bit."
"One thing I can't really believe, is that it took a human to figure out our genetics better than our own." Christine said. "I read the Cliff Notes of the Oberlin Paper, and it sounds very good. Better than what most scientists have been churning out."
