I'm sorry for being disappearing suddenly.
Here is what happened. We had a huge windstorm that cut off our power, thus leaving us in the dark with no electricity for a day and a half. The reason was that we had gotten hit by the remnants of Hurricane Ike. Yes, the one that hit Texas. We had only just managed to get our power back just now.
I might've missed a couple of things while I was away too, but no matter, I'll try to catch up.
I do hope that our power stays back on for awhile.

I was wondering if something like that happened, he did the same to KS but I was one of the lucky ones, and he brought a few tornados up with him. We had one a few miles off where we live.

Yeah, we lost power at around 6:30pm on Sunday and didn't get power back until around 1:30am this Tuesday.
Crews were working around the clock to restore power and some even came from neighboring towns to help us.
My town has only one giant transformer, which was what blew out when two telephone poles broke and there was some downed wires. We were all worried that if it shorted out again, the town would be dead in the dark with no electricity for days. Just about everybody was coming to check on the progress of the repairs all day yesterday. A temporary had been put in and they're gonna build a windshield, hopefully to prevent a second short-out from the next windstorm.
I fell asleep and woke up to find all the lights back on in my house. That's how I knew that power was back on.
He didn't bring tornadoes, just 55mph wind and drizzling rain. There were some accidents because of the wind, injuring some people.
