Given my wide-ranging taste in cars, there are about a bajillion models whose appearance I love, and I can never decide on a single one. So this thread will probably turn into "Tracker's good-looking car of the day". Let's start this out with something from the '80s, a Toyota Supra MKIII:

Hm dis a hard one... all cars have thier looks for what they are made for... In short so i'll shut up and you all can get back to what your doing... If it's on 3 to 4+ wheels i love it.. xD

Why don't you post'em? I have quite a few cars which most people consider ugly but I love, such as the Jeep Commander: or the Mercedes G-Wagen:

It's okay, those are boxy but in the sense that they're stately and upstanding. I can't put a tread on what the prettiest car ever would be...but I've got a nice strong contender:

I do like the G-Wagen. It's got that 'unique' feel to it. Which brings me to my next couple contenders. The Volkswagen Microbus. Possibly one of my all-time favorite automobiles ever. You can dislike it all you want, but it's a work of pure practicality and common sense. If you haven't seen one in person, they're much smaller than they look in photos. Only 9 inches longer than a Beetle. But I'll stop my VW-fact-rant there. -- Classic Volkswagen Sedan Another of my favorite car designs ever. Sure, it may be ugly, but it's beautiful. Now, straying away from Volkswagen for a minute. -- Porsche 997 I'm sure most will agree on this one. There's more, but I can't be bothered to list them now as it's 7AM and I haven't slept yet.

The Beetle's squeeeee-cute, but it's not "pretty." XD Here's a nomination: The Maserati Birdcage.I could imagine just what a life this bird could lead...and it makes me wallow in my own self-pity some more. ;.=.; Gawd, I'm lonely.™

It's okay, those are boxy but in the sense that they're stately and upstanding. Yeah, but almost every review I've read of those two cars seems to go "They're rugged, reasonably luxurious, powerful engine, etc. etc. but they look ugly as sin". It seems that I'm in the minority when I consider tough and boxy to be good-looking. And the Bug is considered ugly? I think it's one of the only cars(probably THE only car) that can look cute and stately at the same time. VW apparently forgot about the "stately" part when they designed the New Beetle. Oh, and Adrian won't like that Porsche. Anyways, to add more cars to the list, here's the Mercedes SL-Class: Both the modern generation: And the classic '50s one that started it all: There are also the generations in between, but these two are my favorites.

I wish I could say the same for VW and the New Beetle. I don't dislike the NB as a car, I just dislike it as an 'evolution' of the classic Beetle.
VW was producing classic beetles well into the 2000's in Mexico that looked exactly like a '70s model from the outside but was a '90s car inside.
I don't see why they couldn't have just tweeked it a bit more to fit EPA standards and just kept going with that. In 2038, the first VW Beetle will be a hundred years old. I wonder what Volkswagen AG will do to commemorate.

Hmm...I feel the exact same way about the Land Rover Discovery. The Series I and Series II looked almost exactly the same(aside from a few minor details such as the tail lights) but were technically completely different apart from a few body panels, but then came the Series III/LR3 which transformed it from a badass off-roader into some fat blob thing. RIP boxy Discovery Oh, and another favorite, the Maserati MC12. It may just be a watered-down Enzo, but damn if it doesn't beat the Ferrari in the looks department.

Me and Mom passed a Series II Discovery yesterday on the highway, and we were quarreling over whether they looked good or not. I have to admit that it was a very unflattering red color, looked like a spraycan repaint.
