www.aintitcool.com/node/36329At least the long lead-time means that they're going to take the time to do it right and there is a possibility that the sequel will be as good as the original? I hope so.

*Does the happy dance o' joy* I like the idea of Cars going international, though I can't wait to see what makes McQueen and company go abroad. Now I'm very curious if it will follow the canon from the videogames and keep the international racers *crosses fingers* and the demolition derby cars as prominent characters. I think I like this plot more than the "McQueen proves to his kids he's still got it in him" plot rumors. That had potential too, but it sounded too similar to the underplot of Doc Hudson proving he could still race and return to the track as a crew chief.

I hope the originals (like Sally and Doc and everyone else) return.

im gonna say it... i am... "I told ya so."
and i did. i always said there' a good chance of a sequel. too much scope for storylines (whether they keep original cast members or not) - not to mention the merchandising - for them not to.

I hope they do it justice, that's all I can say for now. I hear Cars has pulled in more $$$ from merchandising than any other Pixar film.

Can you blame us for buying the merch??? They are soooooooo cute!!!!
I keep my fingers crossed its a good story, but then Pixar always rises to the occasion!

now that one i can't see how would work. i mean... they found him right? not much more to it really. they kinda limited themselves witht the title on that one. I mean... somethig like... "A Fish's Tale" or something, and sequels'd work, but... as is... would anyone really buy Nemo getting lost like that again?

I hope so. I sure hope so. If it's international than there's no telling how many adventures could come from that. I would love to go see it when it comes out.

Yes! A Finding Nemo 2 would rule so hard! I wonder what it'd be about though. They can't lose Nemo again...
Oh cod, not Sandy Plankton...

That would be so COOL! I hope everyone is still in it, including Doc (I'm curious because didn't Paul Newman retire last year???)

Hey, i can dream can't i? And besides, they could do a different thing, like, Finding ---------, and figure out someone else to find. Like, my fanfic on FF.net is called 'Finding Cody'. Maybe they could lose Squirt or somebody, idk. It's not impossible. Yea, Paul Newman retired last year. Ohhh! I love Doc! They can't leave him out.

Retire? Retire from what? You don't "retire" from voice acting. It's the easiest job in the world. You just sit on your ass and talk.
