While Daniel was discovering the wonders of using manure as fertilizer, he saw the bushes rustling bit. It was not that odd, until he figured that there was no gale. He went to the bushes and chirped.
"Do you know what is behind you?" Jason asked. Though he could say that there was a large rock there, it wouldn't really give Delfina a clear picture what was behind her.

The twins paused when they heard the chirp and chirped back, but kept hidden and moved somewhere else. It was like playing a game of Marco Polo.
Soon they found a small crevice that was big enough for them to squeeze through. It was smooth going for only a few seconds until Kestrel got his tire stuck on something. He got scared and chirped frantically for his mother.
Ebony heard the chirps and made her way over, sensing something was wrong.
"Where are they?" she asked worriedly.

"I know there is that rock behind me," said Delfina, "but I think that there may be something else as well."

Kendall sniffed at the crevice. "I think one of them's in trouble." He chirped back to them, reassuringly. He could only partially see them.
Liska bent down and peered at them. "He's caught his tire on something."

"Try to navigate the cat to the rock and interact with it." Jason said. He wanted to know if Delfina knew the general location of the rock. It would determine how good her memory was, and what sweep scan he could teach her, depending on how detailed one wanted the echo to be.
"I think one of the kids can go there. Who has interacted the most with the twins?" Daniel asked, ready with his radio.

Kestrel chirped frantically back, sounding very afraid. He tried to wiggle his tire free, but only succeeded in getting himself further stuck.
"Oh..." Ebony uneasily looked into the small crevice, "It's too small."
It was then that Daniel asked her who interacted with her twins the most. She thought about it for a few seconds, "I think Dawn has. She's looked after them for me before a few times."

Delfina focused on the cat. It stood up on its feet and strolled over to the rock, and jumped lghtly up to the top. It then sat down with its front paws together and its tail wrapped around its feet.

"Excellent memory," Jason complemented Delfina. "I would have had to done a sweep or taken a second look before doing this without looking. Dismiss the illusion. How are you feeling?" He felt Delfina had passed this excellently, but he didn't want to move to the next thing if she felt drained.

"I know Dawn. I'll call Tamara." Liska took out her PDA . "Tamara has the day off today."
A minute or two passed before a text message came back. "Dawn's coming. They had to excuse her from class."

With a thought, Delfina dismissed the cat. It disappeared from the rock.
"I feel okay," nodded Delfina, "I'm not as tired as usual."

Ebony felt guilty for taking Dawn out of class, but who else did she know who was small enough to reach her twins? She chirped at them in a reassuring manner, just to tell them that their mother's there. This seemed to calm them a bit.

"You remember when I pinged you? This is related to that." Jason had already taught Delfina how to ping and few other things related to the flow. "The powerword is 'skyn', and you got to think of the range of the spell, and how much feedback you want. The feedback is a general layout of the environment, and location of lifeforms and types of energy. You cannot differ between persons and animals, so trying to locate a specific person will not work with this."
"Oh yeah, classes." Daniel muttered and watched the entrance.

Dawn arrived at the grow chambers and came up to where Ebony, Kendall and the others were. Her aunt had told her of the situation. "Where are they?"

"They are here." Daniel led Dawn to the crevice. "Kestrel has his tire stuck somehow."

Delfina nodded, "Yeah, I do. So I have to learn the general location first." She knew that she was in the chasm, so she was familiar with this place.
Focusing, she spoke the word 'skyn' to see how far her range extended. She let it go all the way to the center court.

Ebony pointed with an antenna at the crevice. "They're in there," she said uneasily.

Dawn peered inside. "I think I can JUST squeeze in." She took off her sweatshirt, leaving a closer-fitting tank top. Slowly, she weaselled her way into the crack, speaking to the twins as she made her way towards them.

The twins chirped back, but didn't move. Kestrel, however, wiggled his trapped tire and chirped at Dawn, as if he wanted her to free him.
