History: Sarena has lived with the Zaburi clan her whole life. But when she was just hitting the teens, she got attacked by a rouge raptor over a carass of a small herbivore she had brought down. With the raptor being much older than she, she suffered injuries to her right hind leg and right eye, giving her permanent limp, and blindness on right eye. She quickly adapted to stealth tactics to compensate her weaknesses, and it has proven successful, but it works only to hunt down smaller prey, and scare bigger ones to other raptors.
Appearance: Grey, with darker spots lined up horizontally by her spine, and two lines of spots on each side just below the spine. There is no other markings so to speak of.

Personality: Sweet, loving, friendly, curious, happy, patient
Strengths & Weaknesses:
- Speed
- Good at climbing
- Sense of smell is week
- Stealthful (good spy)
- Not a good hunter though
- Very little energy (often pregnant)
History: Lauosa was once a wandering raptor with her small family, when she was 18, she was taken into the Makena Clan while her family was left behind (more like didn't want to be part of any clan)
She is the female in the tribe who most mate with since she breeds good children even though her weaknesses are large, the dominant genes in her are for much stronger things. She breeds faster children than the Makena tribe usually hosts since she used to wander on open plains, she quite fast herself.
She has a liking for KanKov but also has tried to make a friendship with Azra, she prefers those not of her own tribe and tends to go for those who live nearby Zeburi since they are more like herself (ie speed) and finds more of a relation to them.
Though her like for KanKov is large, she is beginning to see Azra is more interesting than she first assumed.
(sorry orca, I just figured she'd have a thing for Azra since he's from KanKov's tribe, but she's indecisive and Azra's your character. =3)
Appearance: Her underbelly is almost white and leads up to her brown back (that kinda blends into the white as spots) her tail is similar to KanKovs only doesn't have stripes till about halfway down and they are brown and white. She has red feathers on her arms, head and tail.

(sorry orca, I just figured she'd have a thing for Azra since he's from KanKov's tribe, but she's indecisive and Azra's your character. =3) That's okay; to start, it's perfectly all right if some of our characters already know each other. Neo and Kan-Kov, for example: Neo's fiercely loyal to the current Alphas and not eager to see Kan-Kov dethrone them. And awesome picture of Kan-Kov. I love that sadistic expression he has, and the attention to detail is very nice. Nice to see you here, Elizar.  So that makes it 1 Acro, 4 Zeburi, and 3 Makena (pending EV's female character). Once she's posted her profile, I'll start the topic off. I was thinking we could start off in early summer, when that year's new broods would be out of the nest and the adults would be busy watching over the new generation. |

Sorry it took me so long to come up with a profile for my character. I hope she's okay.
Name: Zubrini "Brini"
Species: Utahraptor
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Clan: Makena
Height: 7 feet
Length: 18 feet

Personality: Zubrini is naturally curious and likes to explore, yet she's smart and a quick thinker when it comes to bringing down prey and outsmarting bigger predators, like the Acros, away from the chicks
Strengths & Weaknesses:
~ Quick thinker
~ Zubini would be considered the Omega of the Makena Clan
~ When she gets ideas, it's mostly from watching others
~ Has a habit of getting herself into trouble, intentionally or unintentionally
~ Protective of her friends (if she has any)
~ When something goes wrong, she always thinks it's her fault
~ A good climber and jumper
History: Zubrini comes from another clan way beyond the plains, in which she was born. When she came of age, she had to leave her old clan to search for a new one to join, as was what any female must do to keep their gene pool pure and without defects. After a long journey, in which she encountered a few Iguanadons, Zubrini arrived at the territory which belonged to the Makena Clan. She hopes to join up with this clan and is trying to prove her worth and usefulness to them.
Appearance: A brownish-red back and white underbelly. Legs, arms, and tail the same brownish-red color with white stripes encircling them. Zubrini has white around her eyes and brownish-red around her muzzle. She is a little bit on the small side, not yet an adult. Small, blue feathers adorn her head and run down her neck, ending at her shoulder-blades.

Glad you like it, Yes, KanKov is rather sadistic >=3, he used to be loyal but he's grown a mind of his own, to tell the whole truth, he is more of a solo person so if he did indeed take over...it'd would be interesting =P lets just hope it doesn't happen xD I'm interested to see how this quarell with KanKov and Neo will turn out. |

I might join. Here's my character:

Clan: None.... she sorta got kicked out of her's.
Height: 6" (She's quite short. You could argue that she's a bit of a midgit for her age)
Length: Uh.... ?
Weight: Totally dunno.... ^^;
Personality: Kinda wacky but quite smart.... maybe a little too smart and crazy for her own good. Also a smidge agressive (has picked one too many fights with her fomer alpha. Although, ask her about it and she'd say "I almost had him! If it weren't for everyone else pulling me off him, I could'ov totally won!" ) and a bit brash as well as a little tomboyish. Also has a geeky side to her.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
- She's an inventor and has a keen interest in science. She had a lot of revolutionary ideas that unfortunately got lost over time and was only rediscovered by humans. But then again, who in their right mind would admit they got their scientific ideas from a dinasaur? XD
- Gets herself in to way too much trouble. ("Plant eaters aren't dangerous! They're harmless vegitarians known to impale you on their horns if you get too close or poke way too much fun of them. But definately NOT dangerous!")
- Fast runner (Of course she'd have to be to get herself out of half the situations she gets herself in to!)
- Plenty of endurance (Again... helps in those tricky situations)
- Viewed by others as being way too crazy and someone to be avoided. Strangely enough, kids like to pal around with her.
- Kinda reckless at times
- Also seems to have a side interest in medicine.
History: Maui was one apart of another clan called the Ashtika clan. While she was a part of it, members found her difficult to control and was socially outcast. Her closest friends were the kids who seemed to enjoy watching her invent stuff and her experiments. However, one day one of her experiments (Horned Vegitarians: Are they really that dangerous? ) goes horribly wrong putting some kids in danger. She manages to rescue them in the nick of time, however, for her reckless behavior, she was kicked out of her clan entirely and left to her own devices. Currently, she's by herself and exploring the land.
Appearance: Has dark rings covering her body except for her face, with a mixture of blue and white feathers. She has a slightly unkept appearance about her.

- She's supposed to be a little silly. She's based a bit off of Flick from "A Bug's Life."
- She carries on her back a small satchel made of palm leaves which she carries some of her more favourite inventions.
- Some of her earlier experiments include "how to preserve meat", "exploring vegitarianism," "how to treat hunting related injuries" and "tools."
Yeah... I figured I'd put together one of my signature crazy and quite qurky misfit characters again. I hope this works.

And Zubrini might need some rescuing, but I don't know how Orca will react to having her characters, the ones threatening 'Brini, having the crap beaten out of them.

I like the relation to Flik when it comes to experiementing and inventation. Since you're not sure what her length and weight would be, we could assume, as you've pointed out, that she's small for her age.

I came up with a prospective list of other things that could happen in the course of the story. - Territorial dispute/war (on a larger scale: pack against pack)
- Flash flood (the plains 'raptors would have to learn how to climb and fast)
- Severe drought; rationing of water (think TLBT 3)
- Injury (on a large scale or individuall)
- Disease (airborne or brought on by parasites)
- Courtship battles (competitions between the young adults in early fall)
- Widespread forest fire (the Makena would have to temporarily leave their territory for the plains)
- Stampede (could take place during a hunt)
- Leadership dispute (say one or both Alphas of a pack would fall, who would replace them)
- Adventures in chicksitting (more minor drama, say a few kids were to wander off)

If you did anything with injury or disease, Maui has the skills nessisary to be useful. She may be a bit ditsy at times, but not entirely stupid. XD

An injury during a hunt would be interesting. I wanted to play off Zubrini's blaming herself for bad things happening, like if she gets injured in a hunt, she'd blame herself.

Welll.... I'm kinda stuck and kinda screwed here. ^^; I've got nothing to do right now other than quite possibly making my character a bit more obnoxious or something. (Of course.... when I do that, I get guilt! ^^; I'm a sad one, aren't I?) Can I have some help here?
And incidentally on Orca's story ideas, I'm kinda liking the idea of some sorta non-lethal pandemic or something. I can potentially see some sorta questing thing with that.
