not sure if this is the right section to post or not but...
I'm looking for car versions of curse words for a fanfic I'm doing ( yep foul-mouthed race cars )
so far I thought of Scraps or scrap like rubbish, crudy.
any more swearies or words that can be used by bad boy muscle cars to shout at each other?

scraps? whyfor?
I could run off what for me would be a big list of what I'd deem bad enough cars that they'd be considered swaring, but I'd almost certainly offend a lt of people. Americans for example. But I think Lada could work universally.
Tailpipes? it's generlly the backmost part of a car, and the backmost part of a person is their posterior, so...
er... cant think of anything else... tough one.

Maybe... "Suck my spoiler!" Or something like dat...
(Oh yeah. And if your gonna get REALLY bad words, maybe people should PM it to you.... Don't want a little kid reading something like the 'F' WORD IN CARS WORLD' right?)

Well, we all know what "Chrysler" substitutes for. And Kamui.EXE has to be credited with the idea for exclaimations like "For Ford's sake!" With that in mind, I can just as easily picture someone saying "****damn it".

A mild one could be dipstick; they sure used that a lot on the Dukes of Hazzard. How about son of a sound dog?
*Wonders what a sound dog is anyway.*

could call someone a Vectra. but don't blame me for the consequences.
would calling another car a van be like calling them fat? hmm.... your a Multipla van and your abut as interesting as a Vectra.
that was an example. not actually aimed at anyone.
Banger (slang term for a rubbish car here in blighty)

Well Mack says thank the 'MANUFACTUR' your alive when he finds McQueen, so that must mean mother(something), and Chrysler would be(sorry to any Christians) Christ, and thats all I know of.

"Manufacturer" would have to be pronounced oddly to be the equivalent of "Mother------". I think "Manufacturer" would be more like "Thank the creator you're alive!" Also, we hear Lizzie call Ramone a Lemon, which seems like a mild derogatory term.

Mater says "holy shoot!" and even "dadgum" is a more polite way of saying "God d#mn" which is why you don't want to say it in mixed company. I learned the latter in a James Dobson book of all places.

This is all a bit different in the german dub ... ;D Mack says "Dem Hersteller sei Dank!" you mostly only use the word when you are talking about a manufacturing firm and not about a person.
Another thing I really liked was "Ich glaub mein Keilriemen pfeift!" ;D Which seems to be the car-version of "Ich glaub mich tritt ein Pferd!" or "Ich glaub mich streift ein Zug!" That just means "Blow me down!" but if you translate it directly it means: "Ich glaub mein Keilriemen pfeift!" = "I think my fan belt whistles!" XD "Ich glaub mich tritt ein Pferd!" = "I think I got kicked by a horse!" "Ich glaub mich streift ein Zug!" = "I think I got scuffed by a train!"
;D

"I think my fan belt whistles!" is the best phrase ever.

I say just keep the normal swear words we have in the real world! Then readers would know what they were talking about without needing a translation.
