Well, do you know this other girl? What's she like?

Dressing nicely won't do it, hon.
Talk to him and try to show him how you feel. I mean, don't just say it right away, you might frighten him - but take a little initiative and drop a little hints.

Talk to the girl. Find out why this boy talks to her instead of you. Then you'll find your answers.

Okay. Firstly is observation. Observe this girl and figure out what she's doing differently then you. Dressing nicely really doesn't do justice. It's just that - dressing nicely. However, it doesn't hurt either. Once you've figured out what this girl's doing differently, take notes and incoporate it in to your own putting your own spin on it. In otherwords, still be yourself but taking the other girl's actions in to consideration. Next stage is to be a woman of action and talk to this boy putting everything you've learned and know in to play. Start out with casual conversation to get him to open up. If he's still being a jerk, forget him. He isn't worth the time of day.
