- Keep cursing to a minimum. We generally turn off the profanity filter, but that does not a cursing zone make - ditto for slurs. Please watch your language. If someone is abusing this, you'll be warned and then tempbanned.
- Respect the views of your fellow board members. Not everyone may have the same opinion of a character as you. If you disagree, please make sure a debate remains friendly. After all, debate teams often sit on opposite sides in school groups and still remain friends.
- Trolls will be eliminated on sight. Same goes for sockpuppetting, attempts to hack the board, attempts to deceive or defraud, harassing other members, or uttering threats.
- Show respect for other companies, too. This board may be dedicated to Cars, but it is not to turn into a massive flaming of Dreamworks or other animaton companies.
- If you do want to post a slashfic, please make sure you're posting warnings with it. Not everybody may care for a given pairing. And keep it PG-13.
- No explicit sexual content, or extended and graphic scenes of mutilation and torture of the Saw II variety. Keep it PG-13, please.
- Each section has a few rules specified just for it. Please read each set if you intend on remaining in that area heavily.
- Don't start a grudge just because a person doesn't agree with you. This DOES NOT MEAN you can't debate a topic. What it DOES mean is that it's not polite to hate someone because they like someone better than you, or may not agree on this that or the other. Debates are welcome and encouraged.
- If you're having problems in RL, don't take it out on the folks on the board. We understand your need to vent, but we do not want to see full-out fights erupt. This doesn't mean you can't talk about it, but try not to be rude if someone's having a bad day.
- Mind the size of your sig. Some people have slower connections, and images that're bigger than the vertical resolution of the screen sort of kill it, especially if you're viewing a fanart thread anyway. Try to keep it to where it would, vertically, fit in this box, and horizontally, so it doesn't scroll off the screen. You won't be banned if you don't comply, but seriously... common courtesy.
- Call a buddy, bring a friend. It's always nice to have new folks around.
- And lastly, have fun.
