Endless nights is a series I've made and I'm curious to see if any of you'd like to join it!
This would really help me add things to my book and give me inspiration =3.
The first book is "Night of the Black Moon"
IS this a good idea to any of you, and I'll post the characters needed if you want.

I'm thinking of having it more free style than the real book, but the book is about a world seperate (nearly exact opposite to our own), only this world is covered in darkness at all times and hosts a number of unique mystical creatures.
This world is currently ruled by (villain) a monster named Hephritis. Unlike our world though, the good creatures are not inclined to follow any leader that someone puts in front of him, so their world has been very divided and it needs to be brought back to it's normal state.
As for the RP, I was thinking something mainly from the point of view of the mystical creatures residing in the land, it'll take place during the time of the "Black Moon" a whole month where the moon begins to turn black (and I don't mean as in the dark side of the moon, I mean physically black), when the moon is black however, the good creatures of the world have no power over the evil and must use practical (such as hand...paw...whatever on whatever) they are unable to use their species own abilities.
Anyhow, there's a plethera of creatures that can be played and I'm also up for anyone who wishes to throw in their own characters, as long as they realize this is a mystical world that doesn't harbor modern technology in it, but is based on magic.
Well, that was a long description xD

Viscous (vee-scows)--bird like and in a way "headless", these dark birds serve Hephritis and instead of hosting a normal head like a real bird, it has an open hole where it's calls come sounding out like an old out of tune horn. They're terrible sounds are what they use against the other creatures who are good of ear and their "songs" are so horrid that no normal creature can bear to hear them. (other than their claws and their songs, they are mostly harmless to other creatures and are mainly used as messengers and spies)
Hephyrs (Heff-ires)--Hephritis himself is one of these, they are raptor like creatures, they don't have a mouth on their heads but a sharp "Beak", their mouths are on their hands, unlike Hephritis though, they are neutral creatures, some work for the dark some for the good.
J'esinores (Jhey-seen-or-ays)--Possibly the most frightening of all beasts, these four-armed monsters have large clawed hands and a flatter, alienated face. And to add to their alien appearance, they have two "antennea" extending from the ridge just above their mouth and a tail with a "mouth" at the end to rip their prey to shreds. They come from all area's of this world and range minor aspects of their appearance and in their coloring. Their sweet venom attracts their victims, they puddle their venom in small holes where a prey will try and drink--soon after becoming paralyzed only to be devoured. They all sport a small set of wings, they are too heavy to fly, but are usefull for gliding. Neutral, they can serve either dark or light.
Skylats (exatly how it looks)--These spider creatures have a more "human" body that extends from their midsection. This human body has four arms and is as black as the body of the spider it's from, their kind used to thrive and flourish but now, only the Chistlan Tribe is left. Good, even if they don't seem it from a first meeting.
Miandras--Similar to elves or fairys, but slightly different. They have wings on their head, arms and legs, most are very mischevious but friendly all the less and the majority have either red or violet hair (and anywhere in between) They come from different tribes. Good and always will be. +Solste Tribe +Rilko Tribe +Miob Tribe
There are others I could name and there are also the creatures that are normal here to us.
Unicorns--Neutral Centaurs--Good (but they are not easy to work with) Fairys--Neutral Elves--Good Humans--Neutral (easily swayed in either direction)
Anyway, yep! I'll start the thread then I guess. (anyone can add creatures, just keep to the "code" aka the fact that its NOT a modern world xD)
