This is, to my knowledge, the 2008 Scion xB. They're completely doing away with the old xB which I liked much better than this thing.

Speaking of ugly cars... take a look at THIS!! Personally, I don't like the new Beetles that look like half of a golf ball. The older ones looked much better, especially the one featured in all those lovable Herbie movies.

Even though I'm a VW Fan to the point of saying I'm a VW Fan is a huge understatement, I dislike the New Beetle, too. :/ VW Tried to revive one of, if not the most successful automobile ever and failed. They've grown on me a bit in the last couple years, though, to the point that I wouldn't mind keeping one if someone gave it to me. Here's a little-known VW fact: The classic Beetle was still being produced AFTER the New Beetle came into the scene. Classic Beetles lived on with the same body style in Mexico until 2003. The above picture is the last Classic Volkswagen made in the world, circa July 2003. The lower picture is some of the first Volkswagens, circa late 1930's.

I don't think the New Beetle is exactly "ugly", but it just doesn't have the same image as the car it replaced. I would never own one unless it was handed to me for free, while I would gladly own a classic Bug. Anyways, I've never been a fan of pick-up trucks, but the Cadillac Escalade EXT is just ridiculous: Are there seriously people who would buy an Escalade just because part of the rear was chopped off and turned into a cargo bed?

Escalades in general do absolutely nothing for my tastes. Ssangyong Rodius. Seriously, do the designers not know that this car is hideous? Wait, is it a station wagon or a minivan? Or a.. mid-size SUV? Off-topic, Mom's considering trading her Blazer for a '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I posted that Rodius earlier. And twice. D:
Oh, and I think the reason they killed off the old Beetle was because they required taxis in Mexico City to have four doors.

Off-topic, Mom's considering trading her Blazer for a '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Heheh...same model as Cam's brother Raheem. XD Anyways, if you were warming up to the New Beetle, here's something that will put you off again...the New Beetle "Ragster"(is that even a word?) concept:

Ragster, now there's a smexy car name...not! For some reason I sorta like it, but only because it's cute in a "ohmygosh, who stepped on that poor car?" kind of way. I'm going to assume the guy in that ad trying to look ultra-cool outside the motel is not the Ragster's driver.

Yeah, he's probably like "glad I'm not driving that thing." Still, I actually like that flattened-ish rooftop, though the severely narrow windows look inspired by the 300C.

I think it's a combination of 'Ragtop' and 'Roadster'. I don't know what I think about it yet.

I think you're possibly a touch overzealous because it isnt identical to the old charger. as for the beetle... at least it looks a bit less like a kid's jelly-mould. (what you call jello for no reason whatsoever over in the US and A)

Judging by the thread she made a while back, I think her main beef is the fact that they've used the name "Daytona" for a sportier version of the Charger R/T that has no upgrades aside from a few decals and a small spoiler on the back, when the original Daytona was a supercar based on the Charger. I actually like the new Charger, but I agree that they shouldn't throw around legendary nameplates like that. Just like how you don't like the way BMW stuck the "MINI" badge onto a car that wasn't a Mini. And even if you don't like the new Charger, you have to agree that it's better than the lesser-known '80s Charger...
