Do you mean real rodents? Those would actually beat a toy car anyday. I had pet rats and mice as a kid and they were so much fun, not to mention very intelligent little critters.
I just hope Ratatouille doesn't result in a rush to buy pet rodents by families who don't learn to care for them properly. I recall reading that Americans rushed to buy Dalmation puppies after the live-action movie hit theaters, only to find that they don't always make the best choice for a child's pet. Then they flooded the shelters. Disney, for its part, did have a disclaimer about researching pets and adopting animals at the Human Society tucked into the end credits of the movie.

Like anyone wants to read the credits. It should be before the start of the movie so people would actually see it. The only preview of this movie is the one I've seen on my Cars DVD and it really doesn't get me all that excited about seeing a movie about a rat living in the sewers of Paris hoping for a better life. I dunno, I'm kinda skeptical about how this will turn out. Actually, if I knew just a little bit more about it, then I might have a better opinion...

well if the trailer you got is the one where he's a rat who "likes good food" then that's not it.
It's sort of the same film, but they remade it you see.

Well, the difference between the Ratatouille trailer on the Cars DVD and Ratatouille's actual story is like the difference between the "Mater and the bee" trailer and the Cars story.

There's better trailers on youtube you can find or at the actual disney site last time I checked. I didnt care so much for the preview on the Cards DVD but now that I know what the movie is about I want to see it more.

I might go see it in the theater. Right now I'm looking forward to the Transformers movie a bit more. It's almost like meeting an old friend for dinner and catching up on stuff.

John Razengerger (Mack) lead his voice in this movie too. Did anybody caught the 9 min peek of the movie after Finding Nemo movie on tv? The ghost cheif or who ever was that foating guy sounds like that guy who played Robert on Everybody loves Rayond, i think it was Brad Grarrett.

I'm so excited for this film. They showed nine minutes of footage from it on CBC last night and it looks adorable. I'll be going to see it on opening night if I can.

Seeing it tonight... I think EDIT: I saw it, and I loved it! As usual, the animators did an amazing job with the movements and expressions, and the story was really comical, unpredictable, and heartfelt. It's right up there with Cars and Finding Nemo in my favorite Pixar films, and right up there in my favorite movies of all time.
