Is Wingo actually an eclipse?

Compare this picture of Wingo agaisnt a 'Wingoed' eclipse from NFS Carbon and tell me wether or not I'm crazy.


Look specifically at the nose of the car, does anyone else see the resemblence?

There are Eclipses around where I live and I'd say Wingo does resemble one. But when he is shown side-view in the movie, he looks... short... I dunno... I'm not entirely sure unless I see a better profile of Wingo.

Sally's much shorter than a real-world Porsche 911, though. Lots of the cars are. Gives them a more 'animated' look, I guess. XD

Yes, that's true. The producers wanted the movie to appeal to the younger generation, in general, but some cars are recognizable, like the Superbird and the Mack truck.

i've got an eclipse...his headlights sorta resemble mine..do you have a rear shot of him? i always recognize my eclipse and other "sis's" and "bro's" by their rearends XD it helps me when i look for her in the parking lot...their so..big

the front and specially the sides (window forms) shout heavly eclipse for me, looks like it was the main inspiration there the rear looks a bit like the old tuner civic.

Wingo is either a Civic or a Silvia.....Not too sure he's an Eclipse tho the front ends are similar.....and since he's got a bodykit on...that just might be the front for the kit....

Well... He kinda/sorta looks like an Eclipse, but, he still shows a lot of Civic resemblance... (I really should know what he is, 'cause I stare at him everyday!) And, in one of my posts, I suggested he looked like a Mitsubishi Evolution in a way. So maybe... JUST MAYBE... he's a half Civic/half Eclipse/half Evo/half Silvia...

Is it the new(2006+) model or one of the older ones? Because although the older Eclipses are no slouches, the new model takes the cake for sheer butt size:

i have a 95' mitsubishi eclipse with a 96' engine..strange huh? it's funny because she has no a single spoiler or anything on her LOL she's totally "natural" but when my bro comes back to the states he sayed he'll buy like a bodykit for her. i got her for a good price..$2250 and she only has about 95,000 miles on her..but she has some engine probs and i can only drive her with her overdrive off..darn girl keeps fainting on me for no reason..i love her though!! her name's shivers cause she had bad rotors...so it felt like getting a massage everytime i pushed on the breaks XD
