Dead body... That does always spice up a day.

Ever hear the story of the Great Western, which was reputed to be the largest ocean liner of its time? Well, while it was being built, a worker accidentally got himself trapped and died inbetween the double hull sections of the ship. Because of this, the ship had its fair share of accidents and mishaps, even going down to killing its builder, Isabold Kingdom Brunell (sp?). The ship served for years, even going into cable-laying at one point. When it was broken up, the found the skeleton of the worker that had been trapped during the construction. Everyone figured that that was what was giving the ship bad luck.
So what I was figuring was that the characters go exploring and after much looking around, they stumble unexpectedly upon a body of a worker that was there during the time of the subway system's construction. The subway had gone on for a couple of years before it had to be shut down because there had been reports of accidents and wrecks happening.
The tuners who have taken it over as a home don't know this so it would be an interesting idea to play upon.

I've think I read that story somewhere. And I think its a good idea. Does that mean they're gonna be driven out of the arean soon.

Naw, don't think so. Usually, tuners want to keep their discoveries to themselves, but that doesn't prevent others from finding out.
I was thinking of a newer model Mecury Cougar who's an archaeologist who got interested in the tunnels and comes down to check it out to see if the stories he's heard are true.
Of course, that would give the tuners themselves a little trouble that they'd have to defend their territory against intruders.

Okay, just thought new hideout meant they were gonna be driven out.
And the Cougar, (And for some I always thought a Cougar should be called Krueger) would probably be lost under there since he wouldn't have the senses of a Tuner. ANd they probably wouldn't welcome him poking around.

I would like to get back to or start new again with RPGing but I'm afraid I'm not online often enough, I'm allways behind. And there is also the difference concerning the time zone.

Time zones are always tricky little beasts and sometimes that screws me up and makes me stay on longer than I'd like to. This is a slow-moving RP, thankfully, and I might feel up to RPing in it if I feel like it. Just a matter of coming up with a good storyline as there hasn't been a solid one in quite awhile, except for that tunnel exploration one that I haven't gotten off the ground because I haven't collected enough information to piece it together properly.
Any ideas to add will be quite welcome.

if it's an old subway system then really all you need to know is where the exits are the rest is under ground and maybe it's not marked yet say they didn't get that far before the whole dtiching the place. and usauly old dis-repair subway tunals run some what near where working ones are... so you could if you want have more then one dead person down there.. one from conctruction and the other just maybe was in the wrong place at the wrong time and a cave in happened... which also could put your chars in somewhat of a danger if that's what your going for....

Ohhh, I have not thought about that. More dead bodies would be more interesting as well as the cave-in. I was looking for some way to hurt my OC actually and wasn't sure a gang fight would do it. Good idea, Tai. I'll get to working on it. I'll be a bit slow, so please bear with me.

Okay, as this Brainstorming thread is related to the Battle in the Streets RP thread, I think I'd like to mention something here.
Tony Blitz, whom I've brought in, is going to be the primary villian of the RP.
What he wants to do is rule the world of tuners with an iron tire and as he had taken out the Black Viper (aka Ebony) that was the first step to power. That was only the first part of his plan, however, but he needs to have more time to impliment the rest of his plan, so that means that he's going to be sticking around for awhile.

Okay, I had this in mind for what will happen in the Battle for the Streets RP...
Ebony and Phoenix continue playing video games until they get zonked out.
Tony Blitz find the tunnels that the tuners use as a secret communication line and living place.
When the girls return to the tunnels, they find it trashed and they now want to find and lynch Tony for the deed. This will involve a chase and a challenge to something called a strikeduel between Ebony and Tony where both combatants try to take each other out to get to the finish line first.
