And now that that's been taken care of, there's also that little matter of the Cars RP that I seem to be at a loss at what to do with my characters.

I'm also at a bit of a loss too since we need either Chibi or Eva around. Now I really can't think of too much with this one myself. So I might need a bit of time here.
As an additional side note, I'm working on portfolio so I may be a little slow. ^^;;

Okay. Started up the Qualifiers thread for the Track Time RP. Hopefully, it'll help clear up that log jam and get everyone unstuck.... I hope.

I am seriously considering an early retirement from Cars RPing despite the plentiful patience-afforded opportunities for Carl. This because I can't seem to start an RP without at least half of its cylinders summarily confiscated (and you know who you are who's removing them, and there's more than one. n.=.n).
I'm not one to point halogen beams, in fact you could call it a bit of a little jinxing streak I've had with RPs where my joining seems to mark the zenith or at least the beginning of an RP area's decline. This despite the fact that I grew up from god-moding four years ago. My leaving often marked a board/MU's nadir, and for a lucky few it's all been uphill from there. And I've had quite a history of it...
Still, half of a Gallardo engine does not even a suitable Audi make, and I'll need convincing to get it running at full capacity again. Thank you for your cooperation.

Took me a while to understand that last post, with all those metaphors stuck together. Anyways, I'd hate to see you leave Fierano, cause you're one of the best Cars RPers(not that you other guys/gals are bad...) I've seen since getting into the fandom 4-odd months ago.
You see, Cars differs from other fandoms in that it has a very small fanbase...most internet fandoms are based on series, be they movie series, game series, book series, TV shows, etc. Cars on the other hand, is a standalone movie, and thus has a tiny but tight-knit community. What you see here on Hillbilly Hell is probably 90% of all Cars RPing on the net(with the other 10% taking place in the Cars Garage). So any member leaving would be a severe blow to the community.
Besides, I severely doubt that you actually caused any RP's decline. A lot of us(including myself) tend to think that way, that we cause more harm than good by our mere presence, but at best it's just an illusion, and at worst our mind completely misinterpreting a coincidence. Just think about it objectively, and you'll see that you really have had no negative influence on the board:
Cars RP- You joined this one for a bit, and it's still alive and kicking. You seem to have left for the same reasons I did, which is that the RP is simply too fast and complex for you to handle.
TIRS- The move from CFU to HH killed this one much more readily than anything you did.
Track Time- Although it recently slowed down, for a while this RP was moving at nearly the same speed as the Cars RP, and that alone says something.
In Da Streets- Still going...
Eurobase- To be honest, this one was never popular to begin with. If anything, your posting is keeping it alive.
So you see...you aren't doing any direct harm to anyone by being here. And even if you did, you leaving would be much worse.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOOOOooooooooooo! Don't do that! I like your characters! Besides, the death of an RP isn't your fault at all. I mean with Track Time, it was pretty good until we had someone (not mentioning any names) drop out and since they had a lot of our characters and storylines tied up with them, when they dropped out, THAT put a damper on the RP. It was NEVER you at all, Fierano. It would be a crying shame if you gave up RPing! So please don't! If you still wanna RP, I've got the Solo RPs up. Maybe if you join that, it might work out for you. ~Kamui.EXE

Okay, storylines are important in an RP and I think that any new RPers need to know that. Also, I posted a list of RP tips on CFU once, but seeing as I didn't save them to my harddisk (dumbest mistake I ever made, d'oh!) I can't remember what they all were.
Does anybody from the old CFU remember what they are? It would be really helpful if we had tips for new and even experienced RPers to look at every now and then just to help them along in the RP.
