"Hey, that's okay," replied Petra, "I know about long flights with nothing to do but fly through clouds for fun. Nice to meet you, Ari."

"Likewise, Petra, pleased to make your acquaintance," Ari said smoothly, then, with that out of the way, he turned his attention to the other two planes. "And you two are...?"

"Jenna Jaeger". The mustang girl smiled.
"Malcolm Everidge." The black Spitfire grinned, showing something of the devil in his eyes. "Pleased to meet you, Ari."
"Jack, don't hang near the door. You'll get in somebody's way." Leslie herded Jack back from the entrance. "Your father should be back soon. Try to be patient."

"So, when is your event?" Thompson asked, though he only needed to taxi half a mile for a list of compeditors and races.

((The question was for the F-16 Falcon, I think the filling station is bit off from your group, of the pair, the mustang and the Cessna. ))

Ray looked like he was thinking for a bit, "I think its the third event, but I'm not sure. All I know is I have to do a routine with a couple of different fighter models and then I get to sit back and watch the show...the only thing is I haven't met these other two, I don't even know if they'll show, my flight instructor said they weren't to be relied on"
((OOC: btw, the two he mentioned are a couple of character belongin to my friends, and they don't know if they'll want them to show up yet 'r not...fyi))

"Sounds it is going to be easy for you." Thompson nodded and smiled. "I got few rolls for today, then it is over to the newspaper and see if they like it enough to get me snapping few more photos at this event."

"Thanks." Ray smiled, "I bet you took great photo's, I don't have talent with a camera, so its great to see people who do."

"Even surprised me when I took up a camera. I was working in Alaska some years ago, but I was there bit too long. My eyesight is not what it used to be, but when I take photos, they come out perfectly." Thompson looked bit up at the arriving airplanes. "Except on digital cameras. Beats me why, but I have ruined number of perfect moments because I had a digital."

Ray nodded in understanding, "I may not be a pro, but it seems that technology isn't improving our photographs at all, I can tell the difference between a good photo from a regular camera to a good one from a digital." He smiled, "And the difference puts a digital to shame."

"Yes, but it has bothered some of those who have bought my photographs. They expected digital data when I hand them a film and tell them where the photo they want is at." Thompson takes his eyes from the sky and puts some money under his can, paying for the gas and oil and still leaving the rest for a nice tip.
"Digital is though much more easier to handle, if looking away from the fact it is followed by a EULA. What I mean is that..." Thompson pauses. "Easier to manage, both from selection of what kind of photograph you want, and then delete those images that are out of focus. Quality is though not found in the digital cameras."

"Personally, I wish I had less digital photography in my home and more actuall photographs." Ray seemed to be lost in thought for a moment as he payed for his fuel.
"I may have never been a photographer, but I always enjoyed watching the developing process and being able to try it once. It's alot of work and others just don't see it."

"Not many in photography get to see the process. I haven't been in photography for so long to be confident enough to develop my own films."

Ray smiled, "Thats understandable, plus its very tedious work from what I have seen."
