Ebony tried to go back into her memories, trying to remember who this familiar scent belonged to. She could recall a black Ford Taurus stocker who raced in the Piston Cup as the #28 with Nitroade as his sponsor. There was a name that went to that face. Jolsten was it?
She was brought out of her thoughts when Adrian spoke to her, mentioning that very name. "Jolsten? I haven't seen him since he announced his retirement." Ebony sniffed at the scent again, "Sorry if I'm intruding, but are you, by any chance, related to him?"
Maven nods, "You're welcome. I'll ask her later today during our session."
Juni brightened a bit, "Kay, Mom, Kay, Dad." She came back and settled between her parents, nuzzling them both.
An emerald green Ferrari Enzo puttered about her magic shop, straightening this and cleaning that. Her sides were swelling as her term advanced and she was half-slowing down because of it. But Jade was not bothered by her condition at all. She knew that she could function just as well even if she were becoming heavy with the baby that she was carrying and that her husband, Indigo, would always be there for her.
She would still be teaching budding magic-users until she would go into labor.
"I'm his daughter. Adrian." She replied. "You must be Ebony. He talked about you." She was bit surprised that the topic of her father didnt drift directly to this disappearance a year ago, but she took it as a sure sign she was talking to the right person.

"London. That's a pretty long way off from here," said Ebony, "But I'm willing to bet he might be anywhere by now, even around here somewhere." Chrysler, I hope he doesn't have amnesia like I had once.
"But I don't understand it," said Ebony, "Why would he go missing? That's not really like him to do something like that."
"I think we should at least stop by to see how she's doing," suggested Maven, "I just wonder if the baby's going to be as magic-sensative as she is."
Meredith nudged him gently. She looked toward the newcomer. "Oh, so there is. I wonder who she is."
"Sorry Ebony, but I am not that interested in playing a tourist." Adrian said. "Good thing my dad taught me how to talk with American accent, makes things little bit easier for me. Ebony, I got to ask you, was all that about demons, and expecially Egill, true?"
