On a random odd thought, here's an idea for a mini storyarc. We've got three highly curious youngsters running around, and Aaron is known for getting into trouble.
How about an almost Goonies style adventure, with the three perhaps finding a clue in one of the old dilapidated buildings that some crazy old car buried a treasure of some kind somewhere out near the town? Just for a change of pace.
Missing kids, but no real danger (in the end), abound.

I was thinking of going and renting the Goonies at work, and then I was like, "Dude, that'd be such a cute idea!"
And really, it could take involvement from just about everyone, since missing kids = townwide alert.

I remember the Goonies. One of my favorite movies.
That sounds like a good idea, Chibi. Maybe the clue would lead them to some underground cavern where the treasure is said to be stashed at. There could be some traps where the crazy old car didn't want to make it easy for anyone to get to his treasure, as it was in the movie, but the kids eventually make it in one piece.
But I have to wonder. How long would it take for the adults to notice that the kids are missing?
And I would assume that Tempest would have a mental link with Jade.

I have a copie of a VHS 'Goonies' that we can use.
And it sounds like fun, the adults freaking out, while the kids are having the time of their lives.

It may take a little while. They're kids, so they're prone to things like hide-and-go-seek, so one may easily assume they're just around town. It'd give the kids some time to get themselves into places the adults may not be able to because of too-narrow passages.
And the idea of adding traps is interesting. I like that.
Any ideas from traps, from the movie or otherwise, would be appreciated. I haven't seen it in forever.

Lets see what I can remember. There is of course the falling rocks, the bone piano, and the pit with sharp... things, in it.
I'm going go dig it out and watch it now and see what else there is.

I have to go to Wal-Mart, so I'll pick up a copy while I'm there and see what I can see. I need to own it anyway. XD
I'll be back in a little bit. This shouldn't take me long.

I just ordered it through InterLibrary Loan from my library's online database.
What about there being some clumsy criminals that are also after the treasure, like in the movie, to make it more interesting?

Hahah, that'd be fun. And the kids cleverly finding ways to outwit them.
I'll be back in a half hour or so. I need to go to Wal-Mart, so keep planning... this is starting to turn into something really fun. Shouldn't take me too long. ^^

No, it's actually known as grog, a mixture of rum, whiskey, and water (I think).

I mean it give me a pirate fix.
I have to wait 'til the 21st for Dead Man's Chest
Now the Goonies find the map in the attic what could double as thet. Doc's garage could be where they find the map.

Doc's garage could be a good place for them to find the map. It is somewhat messy in there. But what if Doc catches them in there and shooes them out? Maybe Chibi should get him distracted by something long enough so that the kids can get in, find the map, and get out before Doc finds out.
And on a side note, if anyone has any ideas on how they're going to go about helping Amber, I'd like to know ahead of time so I can get Amber to respond accordingly. Not knowing what to do gets me stuck.
