Name: Jake Sterling Age: late 20s Make/Model/Year: Sterling A-Line freightliner, year unknown Eyes: green Paint: Hostile Takeover Bank green Engine: Detroit Diesel Series 60: 350-500hp Song: Garth Brooks - When There's No One Around
Driving Style: Well, that depends. Is his boss in a hurry or not?
History: Jake is the youngest of six kids, and all of his older siblings are girls. Growing up in a small town, he was lucky to be friends with a good many of the boys around, and he actually grew up school buddies with Mack, the driver of the #95 car Lightning McQueen. It was Mack that got Jake an interview with the Hostile Takeover Bank crew, although sometimes Jake sends joking messages to Mack over the CB that he'll get him back for that someday...
Personality: It's hard to believe that a sweet-natured, laid-back, and all-around nice guy like Jake is the truck that hauls the 2005 Piston Cup champion #86, Chick Hicks, from race to race, but it is a definite truth. Jake is a light-hearted guy, and difficult to dislike. He makes friends easily, and the Hostile Takeover Bank team likes him mostly because he's such a softy that whenever he considers quitting, some sweet talking brings him back to the fold. His long time best bud and CB pal is Lightning's driver Mack... much to Chick's chagrin. Despite all the harassment he puts up with from Chick, Jake still defends his boss... mostly because for as much as Chick holds a reputation for being a bully and a cheat, he pays his hauler well and at least tries to be somewhat civil with him -most- of the time.
Trivia: Jake has five older sisters: Trisha, Faith, Jo, Patty, and Carolyn. Faith and Carolyn are are rescue truck haulers, Jo (the youngest) is a gas tanker, Trisha runs a trucking company, and Patty drives for the #8 car, Dale Earncar, Jr. himself!

Name: Gary King Age: mid-20s Make/Model/Year: 2004 Ford F550 Eyes: brown Paint: Hostile Takeover Bank green Engine: 6.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8, 230 HP Song: Garth Brooks - Rodeo
Driving Style: Tough. That's the only way to describe it.
History: Gary grew up on the rougher side of the Bronx in New York, with two younger brothers and his father. One of his brothers was killed in a driveby. His father was a crew chief before him, also for the htB team, and Gary naturally followed this path in life. Growing up where he did left him somewhat bitter and very blunt. He often comes off as cruel.
Personality: Gary grew up in racing and, because of that, is well aware he knows more about it than even some of the racers do. He is blunt and to the point, as well as the sort of guy who does not take no for an answer. He is constantly pushing Chick harder. Gary is not well liked among other pit crews or the haulers and has a bit of a bad reputation. Chick's crew sort of follows him like goslings follow a mother goose, and it's this sort of pack mentality that leads them to help him in pranks played against Chick's well-meaning driver Jake. In the end, it isn't that Gary is a bad guy... he's just rough. Came with the territory where he grew up.
Trivia: Gary is the oldest son of a widowed father and has one brother. A third brother died as a result of a drive-by when he was still very young.

Name: Danny Wake Age: 18 Make/Model/Year: generic powerboat, new model Eyes: green Paint: White with a red triangle on his nose and a large blue 7 just behind that. Down his wing-like sides are pale blue ghost wings. Engine: (2x) Mercury Racing 600 SCi Song: "Look Alike," ending theme from the Sonic the Hedgehog movie
Driving Style: Since Danny is a speedboat, he spends most of his time in the water... when he is "driving," it's almost always fast, skimming over the top of the water like a wraith.
History: Danny's history is a bit off, as he is the son of a yacht and a dayboat. Built for speed and ready for it, he was already moving fast from the time his bow hit the water, and it didn't take long for this speed to become widely recognized in the amateur speed racing circuits. Eventually, he obtained the number seven, a sponsor with Mercury Outboard, and a well-known place among the racers of the Super Boat International. In his rookie season, 2005, he was voted rookie of the year and finished first (unlike in the Piston Cup, the SBI has considerably fewer drivers and rookies often have a better chance at winning in their freshman year). He befriended racecar Lightning McQueen during this time and still has some contact with the Piston Cup racer.
Personality: Not unlike Lightning, Danny is young and foolhearty, more likely to go off on his team than to listen to their words of advice. He hasn't been racing for long and already he's earned a reputation for being a hot-shot. Not that he's a bad kid... underneath all of the pomp and show, he's actually quite kind. It's getting around the tough guy act he puts on when in racing waters that proves to be the major problem. He has become somewhat more easy-going since his wreck near the end of the 2005 season, but that has not made him any less playful or competitive.

First Name: David Middle Name: Wayne Last Name: Euro Make: Ecureuil Model: AS 350BB Squirrel HT1 Class: helicopter Year: unknown Age: 21 Gender: male Eye Color: green Current Paintjob: gloss yellow w/ his station painted in black & some black decoration Origin: Zeniff, Arizona Known Family: mother, father, sister Profession/Job: reporter Likes: flying, clear days, a good story, reading Dislikes: too much wind, heavy rain, being stuck reporting on street racing busts Strengths: quick, agile, sharp senses, intuitive, smart Weaknesses: sometimes gets in over his head, often too eager to get that "big scoop" Closest To (in regard to family/friends): Erin Euro (sister), Dylan Euro (father), Jolene Euro (mother) Farthest From (in regard to others/enemies): n/a History: David was born and raised on the outskirts of Zeniff, Arizona... it was a strange setup, as the entire area simply wasn't made for helicopters. However, he and his family made due. His father was, at the time, a reporter for the local news station, and being a helicopter, it made life at least a little easier.
Once he was of age, David started trying to surpass his father's track record, knowing full well that if he could get the "scoop of a lifetime," he would be able to leave Zeniff and get a better paying job somewhere else: preferably in Phoenix. This has led him to no other place than Radiator Springs... Voice: Ewan McGregor Theme: Electrasy - Cosmic Castaway Other: -David wasn't certain if he'd found the right place when he came upon Radiator Springs. It didn't seem like the sort of place he'd find a fancy car like Lightning McQueen. -David is not a bad guy... he's just very determined. -Since he only has skids, David's ground mobility is extremely limited... until he starts waddling. While his movements are awkward, this allows him a somewhat greater amount of ground mobility when he's not using a dolly. He can't move fast... only about as quickly as the average human speed walks. He usually avoids doing it, as it wears him out quickly and puts a great deal of undue stress on his skids. -Though generally a very good guy, David is also a terrible klutz in personal situations.

First Name: Hadrian Middle Name: James Last Name: Boxster Make: Porsche Model: Boxster Class: sports car Year: 2002 Age: 24 Gender: male Eye Color: brown Current Paintjob: metal fleck yellow with black vinyl top Origin: San Francisco, California Known Family: n/a Profession/Job: financial consultant Likes: pricey restaurants, girls, schmoozing with wealthy consults Dislikes: dealing with crossbreeds (though he will if he has to), racing Strengths: intelligent, money-wise, thrifty, cautious Weaknesses: a bit of a playboy, leaps before he looks Closest To (in regard to family/friends): n/a Farthest From (in regard to others/enemies): n/a History: Born and raised in San Francisco, Hadrian was raised in wealth and has never really wanted for anything. With his choice of schools, girls... anything he wanted, he never really minded others, their thoughts, or their wants and dreams.
In 2003, he was dating a young attourney he met through the Porsche registry: Sally Carrera. They were engaged for a time, until she caught him cheating on her with a stocker girl who couldn't have been much older than eighteen. Sally broke off with him with a simple message: "I'M GONE" written in black wax on the glass wall of his condo. Since then, he's been located by Sally's mother and is now with her in Radiator Springs, looking for his ex-fiance to try to "patch things up," according to him anyway. Voice: Scott McNeil Theme: Paula Abdul - Cold Hearted Other: -Hadrian has been considered a somewhat inconsiderate person... which is really pretty true. -He often will play off someone's emotions to get what he wants.

First Name: Aaron Middle Name: Samuel Last Name: Carrera Make: Porsche Carrera/Monte Carlo Stocker crossbreed Model: currently unknown Class: stock car Year: currently unknown Age: 8 Gender: male Eye Color: blue Current Paintjob: blue Origin: Aberdeen, Washington Known Family: mother, father (deceased), older sister, grandfather Profession/Job: elementary school student Likes: playing, racing, watching racing, chocolate-flavored anything Dislikes: school, math, rules Strengths: smart, fast, playful, resourceful Weaknesses: disobedient, sneaky, somewhat wild Closest To (in regard to family/friends): Angela Carrera (mother), Benny Carsons (grandfather), Sally Carrera (older sister) Farthest From (in regard to others/enemies): unknown History: Always an exciteable child from the day he was brought into the world, Aaron Carrera has been a hellion. Born to Samuel and Angela Carrera two years prior to Samuel's death, he grew up hardly knowing anything about his father's previous marriage or the fact that his "big sister" Sally did not share the same mother as he did.
Recently, he has come into more of this knowledge... there really isn't much else to say. He is still a kid, after all. He has recently spent a week with his sister and is heading back to Washington state. Voice: Theme: Billy Dean - I Miss Billy the Kid Other: -Being the child of a stock car and a Porsche makes Aaron a very hyper and excitable child. His mother declined putting him on medication to calm him. -His big sister is one of his favorite people in the world, next to Strip Weathers and Lightning McQueen, both of whom are his heroes. -He does not like his sister's biological mother at all.

First Name: Bonnie Middle Name: Michelle Last Name: Ferdinand Make: Porsche Model: 911 Turbo Class: sports car Year: 1989 Age: 44 Gender: female Eye Color: green Current Paintjob: gloss red w/ a black vinyl top Origin: Newport, Oregon Known Family: mother, ex-husband, daughter, brother Profession/Job: historian, carthropologist Likes: work, history, high class parties Dislikes: crossing "breeds," lawyers Strengths: cunning, sharp, witty, highly intelligent Weaknesses: stubborn, "poison tongue," condescending Closest To (in regard to family/friends): Victoria Ferdinand (mother), Sally Carrera (daughter) Farthest From (in regard to others/enemies): Samuel Carrera (ex-husband) History: Bonnie was born and raised in Newport, Oregon... she has never been without, and met her ex-husband, Samuel Carrera, while attending college nearby. She, at the time, was attending to obtain a degree in ancient history. She married while still in college, and became a mother while working on her doctorate. When her daughter, Sally, was in her very early teens, it became painfully obvious that things were not working out between she and Samuel. During a rocky divorce, Samuel got custody of their daughter... something Bonnie never quite forgave her lawyer for. Bonnie's visits with Sally were always tense (she had her daughter every weekend), particularly after Samuel remarried, and upon finding out her daughter had plans to attend law school, she all but lost contact with her... until recently.
After getting back in touch with her daughter, Bonnie's leased out her condo in Oregon and is planning on moving, "temporarily," to Radiator Springs. She claims research, but Sally suspects otherwise. Voice: Catherine Zeta Jones Theme: Rob Thomas - This Is How A Heart Breaks Other: -Bonnie is a prototype model. She reached maturity several years before her actual model was unveiled... a perk of being so closely related to the original Porsche line. -Her late ex-husband, Samuel Carrera, was a marriage of convenience. She doesn't like lawyers enough to have tolerated him normally.

First Name: Norma Middle Name: Jean Last Name: Dinoco Make: Cadillac Model: Allante Class: sports car Year: 1990 Age: 32 Gender: female Eye Color: brown Current Paintjob: pearl white Origin: Beaumont, Texas Known Family: father, mother, numerous former stepmothers, half-sister, two half-brothers Profession/Job: head of accounting and finance for Dinoco Inc. Likes: numbers, accounting, Sudoku, shooting, antique firearms Dislikes: disorganization, crossword puzzles, anyone who thinks it's "wrong" to own a firearm Strengths: very intelligent, excellent mathematician, extremely good with money, frugal, thrifty Weaknesses: stubborn, often a bit too practical, prone to mathematically analyzing everything Closest To: father (Tex Dinoco), mother (Levina Rockwell) Farthest From: n/a History: Born during Tex Dinoco's second marriage, Norma Jean - or Jean, as she prefers to be called - was probably the most normal out of all of the Dinoco heirs. She grew up close to her father, as she was his eldest, and stayed with him far more often than she did her somewhat eccentric obsessive-compulsive mother after her divorce from the wealthy fellow Cadillac (a split that was almost certainly caused by the mother's unusual personal habits).
She began taking pregrad classes once she reached her model year at 16, and by the time she reached 22, she had achieved her masters in accounting and business finances. It didn't take long for the number-minded Jean to become the head of accounting for her millionaire father's business, the prestigious Dinoco oil company. She has always joked about this, saying that while her father is excellent with people and press, he is terrible with money. Voice: Mary Chapin Carpenter Theme: Mary Chapin Carpenter - I Take My Chances Other: -Jean is often called "Jeanie" by her father. She says the nickname is kiddish, but she never calls him on it, as it often helps her remember who the favorite daughter is. -Almost as if through some sort of karma, Jean's skills in relationships run somewhat akin to her father's. She has been married twice, and both times has been the one to call for a divorce in the end. -Like her mother, Jean suffers from OCD, but not as severely. She is always analyzing things mathematically, but as her job deals with numbers, it isn't a problem for her. -Jean's mother split up with Tex on very amiable terms, and though Jean lived with her father, there was never any animosity between her parents. It is believed that both of the two simply decided that the stress was too much for both of them.

((Hahah, I didn't realize I hadn't posted the twins here.
First Name: Clara Middle Name: Last Name: Impalas Make: Chevrolet Model: Corvette Class: sports car Year: 1975 Age: 25 Gender: female Eye Color: blue-green Current Paintjob: gloss white w/ robin's egg blue pinstripes Origin: Radiator Springs, Arizona Known Family: mother, father, twin brother Profession/Job: body mod artist Likes: boys, parties, a bit of danger, having a good time Dislikes: jerks, cheaters, people who insult her heritage, times her brother is overprotective Strengths: coy, smart, a haggler, business savvy Weaknesses: a flirt, tends to get in over her head Closest To (in regard to family/friends): Ramone Impalas (father), Flo Impalas (mother), Jay Impalas (twin brother) Farthest From (in regard to others/enemies): an unnamed tuner in Miami History: Clara, along with her twin brother Jay, was delivered to Ramone and Flo in the early winter of 1981. The twins were rather an unexpected surprise for the couple and though they worried frequently about having the money to raise the twins, they never really wanted for anything and lived their lives like any kids would. She grew up in Radiator Springs, she learned in Radiator Springs... the town is her home. In the fall of 1999, she and her brother moved to Miami to open their own body shop. They did not intend to come home... but she and Jay have really been missing it lately...
While in Miami, she and her twin ran a bodywork and mod shop called Impalas Impressions. It was, and still is, one of the most popular stops for college kids in Miami. It was here that she got involved with a tuner boy a year or so older than her. They were rather close, but Jay later discovered that he was spreading some rather nasty rumors about his sister as well as cheating on her and got into a fight with him. Though he broke the two up, and Clara is aware of what was going on, Clara hasn't taken the same immediate dislike to tuners that her brother did. Voice: Jacqueline Obradors (Audrey in Disney's "Atlantis") Theme: No Doubt - Just A Girl Other: -Clara, like her brother, is a throwback model. -The twins are not the same model because they are not the same gender. -Neither twin is a full Chevy, although they both took mostly after their father.
First Name: Jay Middle Name: Last Name: Impalas Make: Chevrolet Model: Nova Class: muscle car Year: 1976 Age: 25 Gender: male Eye Color: blue-green Current Paintjob: dark gloss blue w/ darker ghost flames Origin: Radiator Springs, Arizona Known Family: mother, father, twin sister Profession/Job: body artist Likes: music, cruising, painting, graffiti-style art Dislikes: tuners (unknown reasoning), guys who flirt with his sister Strengths: excellent artist, tough, will not back down, dry wit Weaknesses: very quiet, overprotective over his sister Closest To (in regard to family/friends): Ramone Impalas (father), Flo Impalas (mother), Clara Impalas (twin sister) Farthest From (in regard to others/enemies): currently unknown History: Jay, along with his twin sister Clara, was delivered to Ramone and Flo in the early winter of 1981. The twins were rather an unexpected surprise for the couple and though they worried frequently about having the money to raise the twins, they never really wanted for anything and lived their lives like any kids would. While in Miami, he and his twin ran a bodywork and mod shop called Impalas Impressions. It was, and still is, one of the most popular stops for college kids in Miami. It was here that he first showed a distaste for tuners, when his sister got involved with one and was hurt pretty badly by him emotionally. The incident left a bad taste in his mouth and he's had a distrust of tuners ever since. Voice: Alimi Ballard (David on "Numb3rs") Theme: Will Smith - Miami Other: -Jay, like his sister, is a throwback model. -The twins are not the same model because they are not the same gender. -Neither twin is a full Chevy, although they both took mostly after their father.
