okay, I sort of had this flash-idea for a story, but I'm a little stuck on a principle which many here should be able to help with.
to keep it short and sweet, I need ideas of some british cars that'd be maybe seen as 'cute' by american standards (take Daisy Duke - make her a Mustang. that kinda American)?
my thougts so far are MGF, Vauxhall VX220 (opel speedster) (though i dunno if this'd be seen a cute and not fast in the states... i mean its small, but could it be viewed as not looking like it could race?), Rover 214 (obviously - if i go with this, i'd likely follow it on from my other story).
any comments on those three on how they'd be viewed by a young 65 mustang girl with a big V8 (the on DC did for me in the fanart bit) as well as any other suggestions would be great. Don't say the mini though. (nothing against it (the old one), just a bit too obvious).
anyways, thanks for any help any of you offer up.

Well the Vaxhall would probably be really sporty luxury car, I dnot see it as a cute car.
The Rover seems to be the cute car.
Not sure about the MGF.

The MGF almost reminds me of a Porsche almost. IT doen't look like it but it reminds me a lot of it.

so... in order of cuteness, you're going with rover, mg, then VX? any others you'd add above the 214 for cuteness, or that you would, or you think that mustang would consider cute?

The Mini always comes to mind first then the VW Bug and Golf.

All you really said was a Mini, didn't know it had to be British... All the ones I come up with are other European makers.

Out of the ones you posted, I'd say the MGF is the cutest. The Rover is ok, although it looks much the same as any other economy car.
There's also the Lotus Elan(although it might be a bit too sporty to be 'cute'), and the MG Midget if you don't mind older cars.

tho as i said, i've nothing against the mini; far from it, I like the car a lot (unlike the current version which is a BMW doing a bad British accent - it's probably their revenge for that Fawlty Towers episode).
