Pretty much my whole iPod reminds me of Fillmore. And every time I listen to the Supremes, I think of Flo, because of the deleted scene on the DVD when Ramone is talking about how he met her. Aw! So yeah man. Just post songs that remind you of Cars characters. .

"Me Against the World" by Simple Plan reminds me of Boost for some reason, as well as my OC, Ebony. I'm always a sucker for the underdog who has to deal with a lot of prejudice and still be able to win in the end and to not give up on a dream.

"You Can't Catch Me" on the Lightning McQueen's Fast Tracks CD always reminds me of Flo. It's something I could see her singing along to during a karoke night. Of course, being the Ramone/Flo shipper I am, I always imagine Ramone saying something among the lines of "'Ey- I caught ya, didn't I?" and she giggles and they go snuggle.

OH GAWD - i have about 250 of them on a playlist that i use for writing my fic. However big or small the significance, every one of them means something. there's far too many to list, ranging from the Cars soundtrack to the song titles I use or reference in my own fic (ie - I Could Get Used to This by The Veronicas, or Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol) to things that just remind me of situations and scenarios. I'm a music freak lol, where words fail music speaks.

"We Takin' Over" by DJ Khaled always reminds me of the DRH when I hear it on the radio. O:
And lots of sixties songs remind me of Fillmore. XD Especially the ones that were played at woodstock and everyone got stoned while listening to.
And lots of other things. o:

I listen to oldies often and I see I'm not the only one who's thought of Flo when I hear a song from the Supremes or any other good girl group. Some of the really kitschy country songs remind me of Mater.

Some of the really kitschy country songs remind me of Mater. oh for sure! When i was little all my parents used to listen to were oldies, so I'm well verised in them too XD My original intent for my fic was to have more musical references in there, but whenever I finish a chapter it's usually so packed full if stuff i needed in there anyways that I don't usually have room for it I'll see how the next few turn out tho

"Hurricane" by Bob Dylan reminds me of Sheriff, but only because it mentions policeman, . Besides that it reminds me of Fillmore. I guess cause it talks about black people going to prison for a crime they didn't commit, due to policeman that didn't listen to his story, and excused the white guy. And Fillmore would probably care about that problem if he was a human. That's not the reason it reminds me of Sheriff, but he's a policeman, and that's why it reminds me of him.

"One Vision" by Queen gives me a mental image of Lightning... Mainly because of the first lines (yes, I've never made it past these lines): "One man, one goal..." O3O Is this me just being naive?

"Life in the Fast Lane" by the Eagles is nothing but a pure reference to Lightning McQueen and Sally. [lyrics]

Let me think...'If Your Reading This' by Tim Mcgraw and 'Travelin' Soldier' by the Dixie Chicks makes me think of Sarge for some reason...
