Mater's my favorite because I love his happy outlook on life and he's mega-adorable. He's not a terribly deep character but he is honest and tells it like it is.
Other favorites: Fred (his excitability is cute), Mack, Chick and Snotrod.

Wingo is my favorite. I love his colors and pretty much everything about him. He's got some cool expressions, and his laugh is awesome,too. :3

I expected him to be an ignorant hillbilly who was just comic relief, but he's so caring and sensitive - and easily frightened. It's adorable. Wingo is my favorite. I love his colors and pretty much everything about him. He's got some cool expressions, and his laugh is awesome,too. :3 I always laugh when Wingo does. That's the first thing I noticed about him and the sole reason why he's my favourite DRH. ;D |

Okay, I'm the one who voted Ramone.
I don't understand why I'm the only one.
But I love him because he's just... so... freaking cool. I love how he paints himself every day. I love his personality. I love his model, his hydraulics, I love him. He's just so... I don't know. Best I can say is every time I think about him, no matter where I am, I sit there grinning like a fool.

I didn't mean to imply Mater was shallow or anything along those lines, but it doesn't seem he has any "unresolved issues" like Chick clearly does. He's also not as dumb as some people would insist. He knew exactly what to say to get Lightning to admit he liked Sally ("Look, there she is now!") and he immediately changed Lightning's mind when Lightning tried to get out of tractor tipping. ("You probably couldn't handle it anyway, Mr. I-can't-turn-on-dirt.") In both those scenes, he gets away with being a little fresh and Lightning never seems to catch on.
