Hey, great stuff! 3D is somehow not my "area", I tried it allready with 3ds max and I also could learn Maya at work if I would like to but I somehow can't do anything with it. I'm just a pure 2D artist. XD

wouldn't the little box with wheel like things count as the place you started? so surely there would be the best idea. unless you can mak a time machine, go back and start elsewhere? like switzerland. that's a good place to start.

I'm using SketchUp for now. I'm coming along nicely on a little truck thinger. Afterwards, I'll start keeping my art out of someone else's thread XD

Thanks, guys! ^^ Now on to round TWO! Remember how I said I was bitten by the 3D bug and had to do someone's OC in 3D? Well... about 7 hours later, I came up with this: When this is done, it's going to be Eva's Veronica Diego. Anyways, it's STILL not finished yet. I'm trying to get her eyes in and some decent texturing before smoothing everything out with Turbosmooth. But for now, I tried to freehand out everything as best I can and add in all the features I saw in Eva's sketch of her. (Actually, it helped that she drew Veronica in side view!) Also, in the process, I tried to create lips for her and I'm planning to add bones later so she can move and be way more expressive. Cool eh? So anyways, this is just a work in progress. What do you all think? ~Kamui.EXE niiiiice~ <3 ^_^

I'm using SketchUp for now. I'm coming along nicely on a little truck thinger. Afterwards, I'll start keeping my art out of someone else's thread XD You know... that reminds me a little bit of Shroder Detwhiller minus the confused expression, the little piece of ducktape on the side of his hood, the knit cap and the tow hook assembly. So this is the SketchUp program? I've heard of it, but really haven't seen it. Well! I'd have to say, he's pretty cute, Volks! ^^ ~Kamui.EXE

It's a Google program, SketchUp.
It's EXTREMELY easy and the user-interface is awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Well... SkecthUp is very far from being as powerful as other programs like 3D Studio Max or Blender ^^. But yeah, for having used it a couple of times, it's the easiest one I can find. www.sketchup.com
