Cool, I always believed that ships how their mouths on their bows. It makes sense.
And I like how Freda looks. You did a great job on her. Thanks so much for drawing her for me.

Thanks. I went and looked at the actual Woods Hole R/V's, and hopefully struck a balance between "Hottie" and "credible-looking R/V". The dark areas around her eyes are to protect them from the glare of sunlight reflected off her own superstructure. I think most ships would have them.

Very rough sketches of Bree LeVasseur, and others. "Mash time" on board ship on an Arctic voyage. Aircraft can also eat soft solids with a high oil content, such as linseed mash. They need it because direct fueling does not give them nutrients or is enough to keep them warm when they're not working. By coydog at 2008-12-07 This one includes first sketches of the humanized Bree in "Ruined Earth" By coydog at 2008-12-07 The humanized Bree, full figure, as well as head studies of Zoe in root form and human shape. Seth and Shayla from the SA RP's. Seth Brightwater is a gyrodyne, a rare hybrid that results from a helicopter male breeding an airplane female. They're rare because gyrodynes, like mules, are sterile and very few care to bring a child into the world who is something of a freak with no prospect of reproduction, in addition to the fact that helicopters and airplanes have different mating behaviors that generally don't lend themselves to fraternizing with the other species. But once in a while, someone gets sufficiently desperate (or drunk) and such a child could be the result. They are not to be confused with autogryros, who are a distinct species in their own right. Shayla is a Harrier jet, and a physically perfect example of her breed, but family tensions caused her to run off in her teen years and eschew the military career that is the usual destiny of her kind. After getting into hustling and drug-dealing to survive, she was picked up by the Raven tribe, a community of aircraft with a talent for magic; they recognized latent gifts in her. Shayla's power source is delicately described as "physical alchemy", akin to tantric magic. For that, a steady lover comes in handy. When she first met this somewhat nerdy hybrid who invited her to play a game of Risk with him while waiting out a storm, Shayla could never have dreamed that he would be her soulmate, but stranger things have happened...

Well, they started with Risk, then it very quickly grew into something else, the same night.

Speaking of lovers, here are Shale and Bree. Shale belongs to EboneeV, of course. And Merry Christmas! By coydog

Here is Harriet Cohn-Dumont, a young lady of RA-5 Vigilante stock, one of the grandkids of the originals. In my take on the Carsverse, "obsolete" aircraft models still persist if the original stock opt to keep reproducing. Though she is an "outmode" by current military standards, nineteen-year-old Harriet still finds lots of R & D work to keep her busy, mainly as a "testbed" aircraft.

Harriet's first encounter with a human. It could have come off quite badly. Thank God and Chrysler for crabby forklifts!

Ehh, yeah, props to the forklift. Could have been quite the mess.
The idea makes me laugh, though, morbid sense of humor that I have. For shame.

That's so cute! Captures the most likely spirit of the children born there.
