Danny stiffled a laugh, "Before I came here....well several years before I came here....my parents were multibillionares and had like, eight mansions. They kicked me out on my 18th birthday." Danny tilted her head slightly, "Its kinda sad really."

"I can be of help there." Sam said. "There are probably few houses for sale, big enough to house three-five of us comfortably." He shook his hood slightly. "I had assumed our current measures would hold up, a motel or hotel for you to sleep in, but it is painfully obvious that that is not going to work with our numbers."
"It can take a week or two, but I will try to see about getting you big-rigs an adequate shelter."
"Thank you for being reasonable." Maxwell said. If she was planning not to, now would be the time. He was just grateful he didn't have to resort to his own ability to get what he wanted. He locked his tires into more comfortable position, ready for the visitor hours to arrive.

"Well thank you, but I'll just sleep outside. Mack always said 'If your sleepin' indoors and youra big rig, there's somein wrong with ya.' Danny giggled as she remembered what Mack had told her when she was little.

Isaac looked over to Sam, "Don't worry about it. Make sure the smaller cars get shelter first. Like I said, I'm used to roughin' it... been a longhauler for 17 years, and before that, I was homeless. If I could sleep on pavement before, I can sleep on dirt now." He chuckled, "You know what they say... God made dirt an' dirt don't hurt."

"I remember that saying from when I was little! I would always say that to my....mom....when she yelled at me for eating the apples that fell from the tree in the back of our home. She yelled at me a lot...." Danny teared up slightly then closed her eyes as a single tear ran down her hood.

The Viper just nodded and turned her attention back to the clock. An hour passed and sensing that it was near that time she got up and went over to the front desk.
"Excuse me, is it visiting hour now?" asked Ebony.
"Hold on, let me check," the receptionist held up an antenna and tapped a few things on her computer. She then turned to Ebony, "Yes, you or another friend of hers may go in to see her if you'd like. A nurse just checked in on her. She's improving. You remember which room she is in?"
"Yeah, I do. Thank you," nodded Ebony. She pulled away and returned to her previous spot. "One of us can go see her now," she told Maxwell, "If you'd want to go first you can. She's in Room 210."

Isaac's tone lowered when he saw the tear run down Danny's hood. "I know the feelin'..." He sighed, "Before I was homeless, I lived in an abusive home. If my dad warn't beatin' on me, my mom was yellin' at me."

"Sometimes....sometimes they would tell me that they wish they had never had me....all because I wanted to be a trucker. Whats so wrong with wanting to be a hauler? All they cared about was their precious reputation." Danny's eyes narrowed and she growled deep in her throat. "Im glad I never have to see them again."

"Thank you, I will." Maxwell said and navigated the corridors until he found the room. He entered it carefully, unsure if he would see her awake or asleep. He hadn't expected Ebony to be that giving to allow him to be the first to see her.
Sam sighed. It seemed that even though a different kind of race, troubled home were not only limited to this world. There was probably some meaning behind the mother's warning, but it was inappropriate to point that out. Danny and Isaac seemed to get along well, so he let him deal with her, as it was probably for the better.

Maya Summers was just coming awake when Maxwell entered her room. The human girl-turned-Camaro looked at her visitor with a quizzical expression on her front.
"Hi, who are you...?" she asked groggily.

"I was definitely happy when my parents kicked me out. It was the biggest relief of my life. At the time, I didn't know I wanted to be a trucker, but after I got my CDL, I realized just how much I loved being on the road." Isaac gave a gentle smile as he closed his eyes, remembering his first few cross-country hauling trips.

A small crossed Danny's lips as she watched him, "Well in love we are perfectly matched."

Theo gave Sam a little nudge with his tire. "Those two are really getting along, aren't they? Sad stories though...I was lucky enough to have a dad that inspired me to follow a hobby." He said quietly, before changing into a more humorous manner. "As for the housing thing, if you have any trouble with space, just tell me and I'll see if I can shrink myself!" He laughed.

"Sorry...sorry!" Gina said as she moved away from the angry cries of a cargo helicopter with whom she had nearly collided on landing. As she had approached the airport, her radio was assaulted by a string of strange phrases and codewords that seemed like another language to her, and the markings on the ground weren't much help either. She sighed...she really needed to learn airport protocol if she wanted to avoid crashing or a trip to jail.
Once the anxiety wore off, she looked around her. It was unlike any airport she had seen before. The taxiways were crowded with all manners of aircraft, and hangars were marked by signs indicating that they were shops, offices, and other buildings that she wasn't used to to see in an airport. She smiled, amused by the sight, and set off to explore.

Sam wasn't keen of talking about his childhood, having spent some considerable time of it being thought of a kid made from affair. "I hope I get this over with before observing any long term effects." He said. "But they have been here for longer, so it may be not so bad." He said, dodging the issues of childhoods.
"My name is Maxwell Eightses." Maxwell said. "And I'm human."

Rose sighed slightly. Everone else seemed to be doing fine; so she wasnt needed. And in her opinion that was a good thing. So Rose calmly checked to make sure no one was behind her then turned and started to leave.
