"Maxwell said your equvalent of coffee was Premium." Sam said and handed a can to Isaac. "Solid food is expensive and bit rare in our world, so you better get used to fluids."
"I was the first one, and I was that for two weeks." Maxwell said harshly. "I know how it is to be alone, stranger is even stranger land. Don't do that to her."

"Thanks," Isaac said with a smile and a nod to Sam as he reached out a tire, and pulled the can to himself. He slurped some down. It definitely tasted a lot like coffee to him. It didn't matter what it actually was. "And if this stuff is as nourishing as y'all say it is, I don't really see a need for solid food."

Ebony growled at being spoken to in that manner. "Don't you dare speak to me like that. I've had enough of that scrap to last me my lifetime. And don't use the 'I've been alone in a strange land' excuse either, okay? I've been alone too, longer even than you. Don't think I feel the same way. It's hard to trust people when they treat me with such disrespect."
She sighed, "Look, we both have a common interest here. You want to protect Maya and so do I. But she's sick right now. Caught heat fever out in the desert. I would have to ask the doctors if visitation is allowed right now if I wanted to see her anyway and if they did they would only allow one visitor at a time."

((Woah...now this is a coincidence: jalopnik.com/356551/remember-the-bmw-m5-ute-time-for-a--progress-report#c4216522 )) "Ordering fuel with high-energy additives also gives you a little boost. Don't overdo it though, the stuff's pretty strong, not to mention addictive." Said Theo as he sipped from his own can. He lowered Destiny, unhooked her, and looked back at her. "So, have any idea what you would want? Just name a human food or drink and I'll order the closest thing they have." -------------------- Gina scowled as she hovered outside, not happy with the division between the different species in this world, but decided she'd live with it. Her radar picked up the location of the nearest airport, and she headed over there.

A large 1963 Cadillac-Superior Hearse drove silently through the streets. She was tired and thirsty; and even though she had been a car for three years now it was still strange to drink oil. But she usually got over that fact. The woman smiled slightly when she saw a cafe but hesitated when she saw the other cars. Rose sighed; although she didnt want to confront them she needed something to drink and some gas as well. So Rose slowly pulled into the cafe but didnt look at anything but her hood and the ground.

Tuner. Maxwell mentally scowled, keeping back the urge to 'command' her to be silent. He held back, afraid of his own power and the consequences. "I do not want to argue." He said clearly. Being thrown into a completely alien world is maybe more strange than to be an outcast. "But I am going to stay here."
Sam was about to say something until the caddy came. He looked at her for a second, then looked away until he figured out she was not entierly a car, but had been human like the rest. "She's a bit like you." He said to Theo low, letting him catch on the meaning between the lines.
"Hey there, would you like to join us?" Sam asked the Cadillac.

Rose jumped startled and succeded in knocking her glasses off her hood and onto the ground, "Oh great...im as blind as a bat without my glasses..." The Hearse sighed and thought, 'This whole glasses thing is really old...'

Ebony sighed and sarcastically rolled her eyes, Such arrogance. What part of society did he come from in his world? High society? Great. I'm stuck in the clinic with an arrogant ex-hooyman who thinks that it's in Maya's best interest to stick together because she's different. What can be worse?
She turned her eyes to the clock to watch for when it was visiting hours again. It wasn't yet so she had to wait. She looked back at Maxwell. "By the way, you still haven't told me your name."

Rose stumbled slightly as she searched for her glasses, without having much luck. "Curse my bad eye sight..."

Isaac looked beside him at the hearse searching for her glasses. He saw the glasses laying on the ground between him and Rose, and with his CB antenna, he picked them up, and handed them to Rose. "Here you go, Miss."

Sam looked at her. She had clearly been in this world longer than the others, already accustomed to driving, and even had glasses. "Do you know of humans?" He asked, then looked at the others, silently telling them that she was one also.
"Maxwell Eightses. Don't go calling me Max, long story." He said. He had reacted badly. "Back home, I studied to be a nurse with the idea to be a doctor someday. If she has told you how different we are, you aught to see that I would want nothing more to go back home, where all those years and money spent means something."
"I'm sorry for my behavior. But if you won't allow her to be with us, you might as well not allow her to go back home."

"My name is Ebony, just Ebony," the Viper replied, introducing herself, "I don't go by any other name."
Then she sighed in esasperation when she heard what Maxwell said next, "Why do you have to accuse me of something that I never did in the first place? I'm not preventing her from doing anything. And I haven't gotten another chance to ask her anymore questions before she fell asleep again and the doctors shooed me out. I don't even know if she wants the same thing as you because she hasn't told me yet. I'm only waiting for her to wake up again as well as being well enough to let me ask more questions. What is it with you hyoomans and sticking together anyway?"

Rose blinked but grabbed her glasses with a smile and placed them on her hood. Then she turned to the one who had asked her about humans and her smile dampened but she nodded, "Yes actually. I know a good deal about them." Rose laughed slightly at her remembering sometimes when she was a human. "Why do you ask?"

"I am so freakin bored..." The 18 Wheeler muttered as she hauled the heavy trailer. Actually she was a Black 2005 Peterbilt 379. Danny stretched slightly before catching sight of a little cafe. "Dang it, my trailer's to big." So once Danny had dropped of her trailer on the outskirts of the town and pulled into the cafe, extremely careful not to hit anything, and smiled cheerfully. She spotted a Hearse and slowly stepped away from her; Hearse's gave her the creeps. Wasnt nothing wrong with em, they just scared her.
Danny couldnt help but mutter, "Dadgum, they look so small in this body..." She quickly covered her mouth hopin nobody had heard.

Morgan sucked down a can of Regular fuel quietly; amongst so many others she had reverted to her human habit of not speaking unless she was spoken to. She tried to look preoccupied with drinking the liquid sustenance as she watched the goings-on curiously. Upon seeing the second large semi pull into the cafe the much smaller Disco quietly nosed her can to an area with more room to move. The idea of being trapped in a cafe by a clumsy truck was highly unappealing. Still, better to be friendly. "Hello..." she gave a polite greeting, dipping her nose in acknowledgement of Danny's entrance.
