OK, how about a time jump to get things moving so you can bring those guys in? I could also see Pienaar getting a little jealous of Josh if he becomes aware of that developing relationship. And Murphy sounds like a fun character. Oliver would already be familiar with him, and perhaps Blanche as well.

How much of a jump would you like? Morning the next day sounds about right.

That would be good. Malcolm and Josh could start out early, looking for this gambling joint, and find the old Messerschmidt who can give them a clue about Zelda's movements. What about the others?

I'd think they could be putting the word out to local authorites about the twins, to tabs on the radar for any sign they're still in the vicinity.
Or, should that fail to yield any results, some more research might be called for, see if there's anything left to be found online.

So that might bring the others back to the regular airport and contact with Oliver and possibly Murphy. I'll be out tonight, chasing the almight dollar. Dunno exactly when I'll be back.

Don't worry. There are some belated fireworks I plan to go see as it were.
In the meantime, I'll get to work drafting it, unless there was anything else you wished to tie up at the Jeagers.

I think the next day everyone will be ready to move, though Tom might be good for a bit more advice.

Approaching Day 4, perhaps a bit of foreplanning is in order.
The crew at TLM is pretty much set, given having stuff on the agenda, but after he has his inadvertant run-in with Anita, I was thinking of sending Pienaar back to Dessauer's. Do we want to cover another POV of the story from there?
Or will we be seeing more of Constanza? Speaking of which, who is it she was searching for on Page 35?

I'm OK with another POV from Dessauer's.
As for Constanza, she has two functions: A spy of sorts, a "Pied Piper" and she also may be looking for Zelda. She may show up at Dessauer's club now and then. She was picked up from the back alleys of a third-world airport, and though it is suspected that her origins may lie with the Gordon/Floyd cabal (the viable remnants of the Avro lines), they're not the only CF-100's still extant.
Maybe an alternate POV from Aimee as well. Who would she be hanging out with and getting to do her dirty deeds?
BTW, the pace of the RP is no problem to me.

Day 5.
Thought we could do with a few little reviews as to our key characters again. Huzzah for planning ahead.
Anita - Even though she's more comfortable with the idea of a relationship with Josh, anything more intimate will probably be put on hold until after she figures out what Ari's agenda is. We'lll have to see how the meeting with Dessauer goes first.
Ari - I'd like to bring him and Zelda to the fore, but story-wise I was thinking that the gang manage to finally pin down the Alliston twins first.
Pienaar - He's my central personality for the underworld scene. His attitude toward Von Klascher and loyalty to Dessauer are set in stone, but other than his attraction for Anita he won't be changing his ways too much.
The Trine - I'm not sure if I want them to go on solo, or merge with the others... yet. The bit about Constanza and Whisperer lying in wait for them is intriguing. Perhaps I should have them stumble upon the new hideout and "meet" the girls' friends, see what the rest of the gang is like.
On a lighter note, I was thinking if we wanted some more humor, before or after, if you put these guys around kid kids, of which the Tigers have limited experience and Freefall virtually none, we're bound to see funny reactions from them.
Murphy - as for him, the rest of my TLM staff, and maybe a few personas at Dessauer's, they are on call for when and whatever holes need to be filled.

Fine with me. Here are some of my plans.
Blanche, Oliver, Villanova, et al. - The Air Vets are sort of like an American Legion for carsverse military aircraft and anyone with a formal military association with them - ground support crew, marshallers, emergency personnel, etc. They also do fundraising and public service work. I could see them taking an interest in the "lost kids" and making efforts to reach them and help them build productive lives.
The Stearns - Gabriel Stearns may decide that a little community service is what Aimee needs to improve her character. Might fit in with the above. Lin will SO back him up on this.
Dessauer - He's going to be in an awkward position. He can no longer stomach Von Klascher, but his operation can't really survive outside a big-daddy network. He's kind of stuck in his underworld situation, hoping that if a shakeup occurs at the top, the successor will be at least not an idiot and not too much of a thug. And what of the whereabouts of Michelle Glaser and their love child? This might hit close to home for the Jeagers.
The Floyd-Gordon gestalt - the Avro remnants and their associates may be considered a gestalt in the technical sense, but their size and amount of capital now exceeds that of some small countries and large corporations. The inner circle is secretive, but they make a rule of keeping all their business operations within the law of the land, wherever they are, even if they have to pull some strings and twist some wings once in a while.
Bernadette - not sure what my long-term plans are for her yet.
The Lycomings - might find them helping out at the new youth centre along with Aimee, who is learning some humility.
Constanza and Whisperer - if Von Klascher buys the farm, they might make a play for headship. They've been assembling the muscle to back them up.

Zig and Bee: if they were to ever make a comeback to legal living they might take up with a project like Air Vets. I picture them as having once been legitimate Navy noncoms who were displaced to make room for more modern-modeled recruits.
Freefall has the bigger issues to work on, namely learning to trust, on a universal scale, and putting his "me against the world" complex in neutral. If he were to cross paths with any grudge-bearing Avros he might find some common ground there - that is if they got past their differences long enough to talk.

The Avros have at least found a way to transform their anger into productive activities, though they are still stubborn about putting too much trust in any government (a good thing IMO). I could see them making Freefall and Dessauer some sort of proposal if they figure they can use their talents. And have Freefall's parents written him off completely or is there still some chance of reconcilation?

There's a chance. What he's interperted as a kind of banishment is really his own fault of not being able to admit he's got some screwed up methods of coping with his surroundings.
And he has, for flavor, a slight resentment for his father. It's what happens when someone in the Air Force advises someone how to conduct oneself in the Navy, you see.

Ouch. I can see the cultural differences from here.
I'll be away this afternoon, but I'm cooking up a bit of trouble for Malcolm when his bro gets back for the kids. Sooner or later, every child of old military lines will be discussing the "obsolete" topic with their parents. But Zach and Melanie were hoping to have this talk with their daughters a lot later than sooner.
