"Good," Krill nods, "Then it's settled. We'll meet up back here early in the morning and then get going."
Maven turns to her cousin, "It's your Mom, I bet. I think we should tell our parents where we're going so they won't have to worry about us."
"I bet Mom's going to make us take Justin with us," grumbled Krill, still not too happy about the prospect of dragging his little brother along.

"I think it is, She probably sensed our little prank." Chase said shifting into gear. "And Justin isn't 'that' bad. A trip might do him good."

"Yeah," Maven agreed as she also shifted into gear, "Might get him to stop worrying about something that he really didn't do. Not even Mom blames him for what had happened to her."

"Hey, I'm the son of the Black Viper," smiled Krill, "I can beat you there."
The dark green Viper revved his powerful V10 engine and zoomed off toward town. Maven and Cerisa chased after him.

Krill just grinned and charged forward. He could rightly say that he had inherited his mother's love for speed and was showing it now.
But when they got to town they were slowed up by the sight of a familiar Skyline with police markings.
"Uh oh," Krill slowed down, "Sorry, Sheriff Teague. We were just racing."
"Out in the desert that's fine," answered Edward, "but in town limits you have to obey the speed limit. I don't want to have to be the one to tell your parents that you all got in trouble for speeding."

Edward nodded, "Good. Now get on over to your homes. It's getting way too late for any of you to stay out."
"Yes sir," the twins spoke up at the same time, as was sometimes an occasional habit of theirs.

After they nodded to Edward and were on their way home, Krill turned to Chase, "It's a habit we kinda grew up with. We can't help it because it just slips out at times."

"Still it can be kind of scary." Chase said as they drove. "All I have is Sheila and she's..." He didn't get to finish as a dark streak came and tackled him. "Sheila! Get off!"

Maven and Krill watched this with amusement. Hideki was smiling.
"At least Justin doesn't do that to us," smirked Krill.
Hideki nodded, "I think Bran would know how you feel."

"I certainly know, little siblings are so annoying." Chase said shoving the twelve year old off him. "Sheila, personal space please."
"Am not Chaser," Sheila pouted, narrowing her eyes. She had inherited her father's eyes along with more of the Viper's small stature, but had a strong V8 compared to her brother. "Mom said you did something out at the Butte. What ya do?"
