"We dont take all food from animals, we also use fruit and vegetable." Aron said. "I'm wondering though about your organic fuel. By our standarts, all your fuel is organic. Our 'normal' fuel is made from very old animal remains, which has turned into fuel."

"When I was in that town to find Raine, this Volkswagon bus, named Fillmore, tried to sell me some homemade organic fuel, but I declined because basically, I'm underage," Ebony explained, "and it would've been illegal for him to sell to a minor. We do grow grains and plants for that purpose. Fillmore's fuel had none of the chemicals and nutrients that are usually added before the public consumes it. It's all natural."

Raine decided to reply to the text message. She typed in the words slowly. "...Is Doc okay? I was wondering if I could talk to him through your PDA..."

Aron found it amusing to picture a pusher in a long coat selling 'no pesicite' apples. Aron looked at the kids, knowing that their mom was a teenager. He briefly wondered who, or what model, their father was, and under what circumstances Ebony got knocked up. "If you think it is intruding, tell me to buzz off and never speak to you again. Do you know anything about their father?"

Ebony blinked and hesitated a bit. How was she supposed to answer this question? She thought for a moment.
"I honestly have no clue," she answered, "All I remember is waking up one morning to find that I'm in term with twins and had to go through the whole six months until they were born."

Either s*x is pretty darn uninteresting in this world, or she was taken advantage of.
"Sorry." Aron said. "Pregnancy here lasts nine months, and it usually just single births."

"Six months is normal for cars of my size," replied Ebony, "I guess it's according to the size of the vehicle how long a term, er... pregnancy lasts. And from what I already know about my own clan, twins are extremely rare in Vipers. I was the exception to the rule. But going through that was pretty rough on me."

"I guess we have different termology." Aron said. "No need to adjust yourself to us, we speak the same language, it's just the lingo we have to learn."

"I have noticed there are some similarities between us," said Ebony, "lifestyles and personalities and the like. From that newscast I saw, your world had roads too. I think it's that we have to learn how to act around each other. I happen to be bigger than you and could easily kill you if I make the slightest quick movement that you can't counter in time. That means I have to be careful when I'm among you all. I have to slow my speed and manueverability down considerably so I won't accidentally harm you."

Alexis texted back. We're on the move now, so you'll have to wait until our next rest stop, maybe in about an hour.

"I had a nightmare last night that one of the 'bird watchers' told me buzz off and pushed me with a tire. The end results had me waking up gaping up." Aron shook his head. "Thank you for being careful."

"You're welcome and I don't like to hurt anybody, even if it's unintentional," said Ebony. Then she blinked, "'Bird-watchers'? What bird-watchers? I didn't see any while I was here. Care to give an explanation?"

"CIA paid us a visit, under the quise of bird watchers. And they met the Rover first, I really had to restrain Delfina, she was ready to shoot them."

"CIA? Aw, geez," Ebony rolled her eyes, "I bet they got wind of Cole's visit here and wanted to check this place out. I hope they didn't cause any trouble here."

"The biggest trouble was for me figuring out how to make Delfina stop pointing a gun at them. The rest went smootly after that." Aron said. He took away the bread from the pack and handed it over to Ebony. "Want to feed the fish?"
