If one weren't paying attention to anything else right now, they'd probably hear some grumbling coming from the kitchen door as one of the mansion's few male residents walked in, clad in pajamas and rubber flip-flops. Said resident was wearing a PSP blaring some rather tragic music through headphones, and looked like he never got a good night's sleep.
He flung the cupboard door wide open, as if expecting some kind of surprise behind it. Fortunately for him the only thing worth noting was his box of Cheerios, whose box-front mascot was defaced with a broad-tipped Sharpie marker. Said marker also wrote "Property of Fierano. Grrrrr. ): < " on it.
He grabbed it, but the phone started to ring as he made his way to the bowl, causing his face to cringe. He snatched it out of its holder with his free hand and groaned, "Good morning..."

Not getting an answer, Reiji found the energy to wander off again. Still half-asleep, she wandered towards the shower, not hearing the water running inside.
After a few moments, there was a yelp and a loud exclamation, accompanied by Reiji stumbling out. "Sorry Dr. Frankie!" she called back before resuming her wandering, this time actually awake due to the encounter. She grumbled, wishing that whoever had designed the mansion had actually put in more than one shower.

Eventually, Reiji found her way back to the kitchen, where she observed everything that was going on. Spying an empty spot on the table, her tail swished before she shuffled over, dropping herself into the empty chair and- using her clothes that she had gathered for the shower as a pillow- nestled her upper body on the table.
"Well.... it's true," Kal muttered as he returned to Kam's lab/room.
Kam was finished tinkering when Kal's hologram appeared.
"Well... they got the message?" said Kam.
"Yup. Gave it to the angry emo kid who loves his black sharpies too much. I'm beginning to wonder if he's using that as eyeliner," said Kal.
"Stop being blunt! It's rude, Kal!" said Kam.
"It's true, though! What am I supposed to do? Lie?" said Kal quickly.
"Then just don't say it at all if it's rude. Anyways, I'm finished here. I'm going to give it a quick test run to see if it works," said Kam.
She grabbed a rock off the table and put in in the shrinkray's path. Kam slid some goggles over her eyes.
"Alright! Let's see what this beast can do!" said Kam.
She fired up the machine and aimed it. It was a tense moment as she pressed a few buttons. The room lit up with a green glow for a few seconds until suddenly the glow disappeared. Kam walked over quietly to where the rock was. It was still there, untouched and unmarred.
"What the?! Da fudge?! Aw! No way! It didn't work! What did I do wrong?" said Kam with supprise.
She pondered the problem for a moment or two before her body started begging for breakfast. She pushed the goggles back.
"Okay.... I'm heading down to get a coffee and stuff. Maybe afterwards, I can try this out again," said Kam.
With that, she headed off to the kitchen. But as soon as she shut the door, the shrinkray wobbled a little bit. In that wobbling, it activated once more and unleashed itself on the rock causing it to shrink away quickly....

EV had to practically drag Insane away from the kitchen with the warning 'No blowing up the kitchen again when you try to cook something'. She sat her friend down so that she may eat her toast while she herself tapped away at her laptop, mostly doing financial work that kept the mansion running smoothly... most of the time.
"Let's see..." she grumbled to herself, "Damages to the kitchen last week would cost about this much. Damages to the basement would cost about this much... Damages caused by Kam's inventions would cost about this much..."
She continued to type on her laptop, unaware of the others filtering into the dining hall at this time...
